Any questions regarding DEP, boot camp, A school or in between can hopefully be answered here. I myself was in boot camp from June-August of '09 and am now stationed in Norfolk, Va. This site helped my mother so much, its my time to return the favor.

They take 3 total PFAs. But the only one that truely counts is the 3rd and final one. That probably means her division did well on it as a whole

next question-got one of those questionaire's back today. How many PFA's do they take?? She said she passed her 2nd, does that mean she has finished with the requirements, sit-ups, pushups, running?? Said they flagged on it also..?

AllisonsMom...that is such great news. im glad you got a call =]

ProudMomship10....that is a tough one, i havent heard of that before. he will be exhausted. but the chances of the -whole- division not passing battlestations is very, very unlikely. i really wouldnt worry about it too much. just expect him to be quite drained.

Charlee...hmm, idk. then i would assume that she would get to spend friday with you, i dont see why her travel plans on saturday would interfere with that.

So excited-- got a phone call, although brief. I did get to ask the questions I WANTED ANSWERED.... She is too funny, always sending info in the mail that I don't understand (I mean the lingo) and not saying anything about the others in her division....so glad we had a brief chat -- I feel so much better!!

Charlee... It all depends on where her A school is. If she's staying in Great Lakes, grad and go could actually be a blessing in disguise.
CLsWife...for my division mail call was usually in the evening 15 to 20 minutes before lights out. You dont get to reply right away, only on Sundays or if they earn extra writing time

Another question, Please. Got a letter, daughter says she's G & G on Saturday, will she be able to leave and spend the day away from base on Friday??
Comment by Who on September 23, 2010 at 9:36am
@charlee...hell week is usually week 4 and is when everything seems to pile up. between academic tests. inspections. live fire, and PFAs and picures are also taken that week.
