Mom Proud of Danny - no apology needed. That's what we are here for, to support each other and our sons.  We all need to vent sometimes :) As for a ticket I don't have an extra, sorry.

Huggy - I heard that if you send him a self-addressed stamped envelope it may prompt them to write.  Maybe try that with you next letter.

I'm starting to think my son is being just himself but rude. Still have not got a letter. I have even sent him stamps. Better get one soon. :(

Now, to finish what I was going to ask a few moments go, if you cannot do this I completely understand.  Do you know if any of you  will have an extra ticket available for the graduation?  I am needing one additional ticket.  If you do could you please send me an email and I can give whomever the details.  Thank you.

I again want to thank you all for listening to me earlier this week.  I was completely lost over this situation and did not know how to handle it. This experience with Danny being gone is so new to me and not being able to communicate with him is very hard.  All of his friends can talk to their mothers on a a daily basis if they want and I just overreacted when I started seeing you all get letters and poor me didn't get one.  I am ashamed of how I was and I want to apologize to all of you because of that.

I truly consider you my friends and again thanks for listening and being a part of my life and this journey that we are all experiencing.

I am proud to announce that I received a letter today from my SR!!!  I'm so glad that he sent us one.  I truly was scared that he did not want to communicate with us.  He is doing well and he has lost two friends in the group, but did not state any names.  He is going to have a wisdom tooth pulled and he is working on improving his folding skills and bed making skills.

I do have something to ask and please if you cannot do this I complete

Thanks Mandi - believe me I was not thinking straight at all last night.  There has been too much bad stuff happening recently and this just added to it.  I've already deleted the letter and it will not get sent out.  Thanks for the great advice.

I'm writing right now, because it's almost 2 am in the morning and I woke up crying. So I have written him a letter about how hurtful it was that he wrote to his ex.  I haven't decided if I am going to send it.  I have shed too many tears over this.

KWL's mom yes, I am friends with her and she was nice enough to text me and let me know that he wrote.  I called and left her a message last night, but she has not called back.  Maybe because I waited almost 5 hours after her text, but I was so hurt I didn't want to call her right away.  I'm sure she sensed that.

I must mention my letter again. The outside envelope was addressed to MOM ,then my address. No other name -  just  Mom. :)

MPOD: (Is an mPod anything like an iPod?) Anyway, sending a letter to a girlfriend might be understandable, but an ex?? Bribe him! Or send a package addressed to "Danny's Petty Officer" or RDC. Are you friends with the girl - did she let you know what the letter said?
