I also got the letter, the brochure and two words on the back "Love You"  in handwriting so neat I almost didn't believe it was his writing.  I also had an unexpected note from his at school today so I have cried twice today. Today a lot of students came in to get their lockers ready before school started.  A freshman came into my classroom and asked if I was the drama teacher? When I said yes she said she found a note from my son in her locker welcoming her to high school and giving her a little bit of advice to survive the coming four years.  then at the bottom it said when you finished reading this please go to the drama room and tell the drama teacher she was the best mom a son could ever have.  I hugged the poor girl and then sat at my desk and cried.  What a special kid to have  planned that so long ago.  God knew I needed that today when I was struggling.  Sharpmom thanks for the verse. I copied it so I could post it on my mirror

Ladies, I am so excited to say ....I got my letter! I was very dissapppointed early when I checked my mail and nothing was there. So I just got home again and thought I would double check since I live in a rural area and sometimes my mail carrier is a late. So there it was, I have never been so excited! He even wrote us a little message...OK, trying not to cry even though it is tears of joy. Had to log on and post this message, now I have to get back to my youngest son's bday party.  This has been a great day for us all :)

I think Danny didn't follow the rules because there was no brochure for me in the envelope.  I wonder if they made him do push ups for that mistake.

I booked us at Navy Lodge..VERY cheap and within  a mile or so of base and about 7 miles from Sarges Meet and Greet and yes I got brochure. Does anyone know when er can start ordering tshirts? When will there flag be done?

Got reservations at the Hampton Inn in Libertyville and the lady told me that they are almost sold out.  Also, their cancellation policy is a good one too if need.  If the need to cancel happen you have until 6 pm the day of your reservations.  Hopefully some of you will be there.
