FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I did not get a note from him. I did get the brochure. Mandi, it seems like all of us in Cardinal Company are 325; he was probably as excited as we are!

So cool we all finally got what we wanted.  The letter.  Did your letters contain the brochure mentioned in the letter?  Mine didn't so I googled  and found the brochure online.  Now to decide on a hotel.

Congrats all!! I had a feeling they were all on their way since we are all in same DIV...I jumped on here as soon as I got it, couldnt wait to give you all hope that they were on way!!! Congrats!! I think my lettter is going under my pillow tonight!!! Did anyone get a personal message? Im wondering if it is allowed..my son isnt a rule breaker, so didnt figure he would wright anyting extra but the way he addressed his step dad and me in the letter was a little joke HE STILL HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR!!!!

Got the boyfriends letter stating address and graduation date. Never thought I could be so excited over an address before. I literally started jumping up and down crying (: this is so exciting!

:) :) :) Couldn't wait any longer. Just had to go home. (I was at my mom's and didn't Plan to go home until about 10 tonight.) Thanks for posting. I did get my letter, too!!!! Now to make detailed plans.

Got my letter as well though the little brat didn't write anything personal. Get what you get and don't through a fit. That is what we tell the kids at school so I will take whatI get. :)

Awesome, thank you for sharing both the great news and scripture. Isaiah 41:10 has helped me through the last couple of weeks. "So do not fear, for I am with you: do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
