So, this bear? When you hug him, your son talks??That gives me an idea. I think I'll buy one of those recordable story books so my son can read me a bedtime story while he's away at A-school.

I posted pictures. Not sure if they've been approved yet.

Had anyone else heard that they get their wisdom teeth pulled the first week they are there? My son wasn't having any problems with his, but his recruiter said they would be pulled anyway. Hope he is recovering okay. Celticangel, hope you're feeling better. Wow, 3x. Anyone left at home?

started out as a rough morning, but has gone pretty well. Took a couple hugs from his bear I got and listened to his voice. Made me feel better. I want that letter so bad. confirm date and see what he has to say. I mailed him a letter yesterday. Talked to his recriters office on two different occasions and was told this was the correct address, if not they can forward it to him.

Has anyone received their son's address yet. I run to the mail everyday, but nothing yet. Thinking about calling the recruiter and asking, but I also read something telling me to wait for the official letter to be sure. Getting jealous of everyone receiving "the box". Cole left everything for us at the federal building in STL and we picked it up the day after the game. So no box for me, he was going to donate the clothes he was wearing. Now I kinda wish he wasn't such a good planner because getting anything from him right now would make me feel better. Missing him so much. Thank God I've been keeping busy with work and school just started for my little ones.  I will post pictures today and when I get the DVDs copied I will let everyone know. Might be a week or so before I can get them done.  Anyone who wants one just message me your name and address.

Chas' Mom -  I'm so jealous of you right now.  My husband and I are planning a Hawaiian Cruise next year for our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

KWL...I'll be there till the 27th of August.  I've posted some pictures also and they were approved.  Please enjoy.

I would think you all would see the form letters this week.  I'm excited for you, Ladies!

Just wrote a letter to my son. I read somewhere to wait until you get the form letter, not to trust what the recruiter gives you. Well, I'll send it anyway, just in case. I cleaned part of his room today. Threw away trash and dead bugs. He collects bugs, usually to feed to his tarantula. :) (which is now at his friend's house) I just watched the boot camp videos again. Somewhere I remember seeing a pdf file (?) of a drawing of the "ships" at boot camp. Does anyone know where I can find it again? Are all of our guys in the same ship and div?

Chas'Mom, I think of you often. How long will you be in Hawaii?

Huggy, I haven't seen your pictures yet, but I know I won't be able to sleep tonight until I do.

HHmmmm, I wonder how many times I think I've have posted something, but I've hit Enter, instead of Add Comment. I must find time to post pictures, too.

Welcome to celticangel.

Huggy wonderful pictures.  I loved looking at all of them.

Moms what a time we are all having right now.  As each day comes, I don't feel as sad.  Today, I am actually glad to know that my son is in a controlled environment.  Several of his friends are leaving for college and if Danny had left for college, I don't know what kind of trouble he could have gotten himself into.  I guess I will worry about that when he goes to A school.

Celticangel - Welcome.  Glad you're feeling better and I'm glad you got your box.  I was anxiously awaiting my son's yesterday and it wasn't there.  Unfortunately, I'm working late tonight so I don't know if it came today yet.  I believe you can post where you're from...if not, you can put it in your profile info.
