Terrible day, went to grandparents without today. First time since he was born he wasn't with us.

How are you moms holding up.  I'm doing better today.  I did all his laundry in the laundry room, and I will tackle his room next weekend.  I'm too afraid to go in their right now that it will make me cry from missing him so much or maybe make me cry from the mess he left in there.  Either way, I will tackle it next weekend.

I was wondering why it wasn't in any news that I could find as well. Saw what I though was news camera at park. I woul like to see any pictures taken at the events. I didn't get many at the park mostly of him.

I was able to video the ceremony at Soldiers Memorial and from right behind home plate at the stadium. I haven't watched it yet and I know at one point I was a little shaky (trying not to cry while video) but if anyone would like a copy I can try and make some DVD's. Also I just watched a few excellent videos on you tube that are making me feel much better about boot camp and training. BattleStation 21-CNN and Navy racks-boot camp, both just a few minutes long but very good to actually see footage of where they are and what they will be doing. Still wish I could talk to him everday though :(

Someone asked why there was not more coverage of the enlistment.  Part of it is because if any of the sailors were "Buds" or pre-Seals, their faces should not be photographed.  Others are ok to release pix, but it is hard for a group pix in that instance.

Prayers for the plane crash.

Pix on your individual pages will show up to the page owner, and once they are ok'd by admin on N4M, others will be able to see them.

Update:  The plane crash was near my mom and dad's house.  Their house and they are ok, but one has perished in the crash.  It was a plane of parachute jumpers.  They all got out of the plane but the pilot did not make it.  Not sure if any houses were hit at the moment.

How sad. Thankful you are safe, though.

As I was typing this message earlier, we heard a plane too close to our house, now people are reporting on facebook that the plane crashed at our local airport.

KWL's mom --  also I don't have a problem with you having friends and family view them too.
