Can anyone tell me, did we need to reserve a place at the picnic? We went ahead and purchased other tickets and I don't think we ever called anyone about attending the picnic. Now that our son is gone, I'm not sure I can locate the letter and don't want to miss out on a thing Thursday! Thanks for your help.
Welcome lilbigsmermaid. Hope to meet you and the rest of our group on Thursday, IF we can tear ourselves away from our sons. :)
My son is also in Cardinal Company. He left early yesterday morning. We are so proud of all of these young men. Hope to see some of you Thursday as well!
I was at home today when Danny was picked up. It was a cry fest here and then I had to go back to work and face the rat race there. It feels so different here tonight. I had to put a happy face on tonight for my husband's birthday. But he knows that I'm just heartbroken inside. On a good note, Danny is rooming with his DEP buddy. That makes me feel better, plus I also got to meet the nice gentleman today too.
I'm at my mom's house, avoiding going home. His pick-up won't be in the front yard, and he won't be in his room. One day at a time....
PNCM...won't be able to make it Wednesday night but enjoy...I hope Cole can make it too
Anyone else with a hole in their heart? Leaving Chas at the hotel and coming home just about broke me and I wasn't expecting it
Chas' Mom - thanks for the address. This will help his friends and family that are coming on Thursday morning. Looking forward to meeting you.
got the information, Chas will be staying at the Pear Tree Inn also. But he didn't know anything about being able to do stuff on Wednesday night. Recruiter just said Monday night. We live about a hour from downtown so we'll be driving the morning traffic on Thursday (ughh)
I hope you have a good time Wednesday, Mom_proud_of_Danny!
Soldier's Memorial is on Chestnut (1315 Chestnut Street) then the stadium is on Clark (700 Clark Avenue) ... not really sure where I'm going to park ... hoping to find something in the middle of the two.
