Your son must be in zoneA. Our son and his family are in zoneB they stayed. He said it was windy raining off and on. I’m glad it didn’t hit as bad. While I’m still praying for the other cities

Hey all you other navy moms out there. Needing some help. My son is currently stationed in Yorktown until next spring however he shipps out 2 days after Christmas he also travels back to Paxs River every Friday night to his wife and 3 year old daughter. He has been in for 19 years this Aug and is a Chief. Problem is Navy wont give him housing while he is there so he is own his own. Can't afford to pay for his place in MD plus full rent for a place in Yorktown. Does anyone know of someone looking for a roommate or would love a wonderful young man as a houseguest? He only has 10 days to find something. Help. A concerned Navy mom even after all these years.

Hi, Navy moms! My son needs some help. He's a GM off the Roosevelt who has been in Afghanistan for almost a year. He just got home and will be assigned to Great Lakes in February. He's on his way to Norfolk right now and needs a place to stay till January 27. Do any of your sailors have a couch to rent? He said he doesn't need a room necessarily as he doesn't have much stuff with him. Most of it is in storage in Norfolk or in my basement till he goes to Great Lakes.
