Smiley  morning all....no matter what stage you are at in this Navy journey letters and cards can bring a smile to your Sailor...and to you...

if you are struggling with 'writers block' we are here to help...

letters from the pets are sometimes easier to write-only because it can be a fun way to say 'remember when we did this'...

yup...they still like mail at A school...usually because a card is inside a box full of goodies....

I love the letter from the dog idea!  We dressed my son's cat up in a pet sailor costume and sent him a picture -- he loved it!  I wish I had thought of a letter -- that would have been so funny.  Oh wait -- she can send him one at A School!

Hi spomss,
Yes, we have our little dog. Great idea about sending our son a letter from the dog. I know he really misses him since he kidded around about wanting to take the dog to BC.

My son also missed calling us twice as he was on watch duty. Just remember no news is good news!

yes good reminder Carissa-and if they have to stand watch or other 'duty' they may miss pick up...

nice Corey's Mom...and your mailman is your new best friend-right??

Keep in mind that they mail letters once a week, so you may not get them right away! Our sons division didn't get their mail picked up 2 of the weeks so we got two weeks worth of letters on the same day!

Just got my son's address today... I had 4 letters already written just waiting to be mailed! I sent him a book of stamps in 1 of the letters. Now to just wait until I get a letter from him! I've taken alof of advice from here & added to my letters. He is a sports buff so copied & pasted some info about his favorite teams and also made a questionaire.  :-)

Thanks so much for the encouragement. I just created my 1st letter using a funny mom questionnaire and adding 4 pics on computer paper. I did feel better!
