For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello
It has been a long time since I have posted and I am sorry. I hope everyone has been able to connect with others in the PACT program. My son is now 3 and a half years in and it has been a great experience. He thought he wanted to be an AM. When he got on the ship, he was put with the AO’s. Now he is an AD3. It was best for him to start PACT because we didn’t know much about the Navy and he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. This has been a good route for him.

I know right, these poor kids. Its the school of hard knocks I guess. He will find his way.. its just a bumpy road right now. Oh how this mama wants to be able to fix it and I can't so hard.

Thanks Michael's mom. My son said thats the worst thing not being able to get clean after sweating all day working. Well and the barge is dirty... I know if he can find a couple of friends and get out some it will help. I just keep encouraging him!

I have not been on in a while. My sailor's PIR was 5/29 he is also EPACT, he finished school in GL and we got to have our 10 wonderful day's of liberty with him.
He got to his first station this past Tuesday in Norfolk, he is very depressed. His ship is dry docked and he has to live on a barge, the condtions are pretty bad. We put him in a hotel last weekend. He is on a waiting list for the barracks which will be at least 4-6 weeks. I keep telling him to just take one day at time and he will be ok. So hard to see him this unhappy. Up until this point he has been so upbeat.
Any advice?? Thanks

My son just called, he is a Sailor! He passed his Battle Station. He is EPACT. He will stay in GL for school then off to San Diego. I cant wait to see him Friday!!

Michael's mom...so happy to hear you had a good time visiting Michael. I know he leaves soon and I am sure it was hard to say good bye! They are really growing up!
pennys...my daughter is SPACT and she does NOT regret being undesignated. She has also learned a lot. My sailor and Michaels mom's sailor had the same PIR and at first heard some really bad things but so far I have nothing bad to say about it. I just miss her!

Thank you Michael's mom- I appreciate that. They did pass all their pfa's , at least that I am aware of, so now its the waiting part, lol, So excited to see the whole PIR,
