Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello
It has been a long time since I have posted and I am sorry. I hope everyone has been able to connect with others in the PACT program. My son is now 3 and a half years in and it has been a great experience. He thought he wanted to be an AM. When he got on the ship, he was put with the AO’s. Now he is an AD3. It was best for him to start PACT because we didn’t know much about the Navy and he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. This has been a good route for him.

Good morning. SD is beautiful and I picked a great time to be here. It snowed back home. 8 inches. It should be gone. By the time I am home. We had a crazy busy weekend am now time gor some poolside relaxation. Michaels mom I am going to call Michael to see about meeting. Maybe he will have dinner with us. Oh...I definately recommend the Navy Lodge Coronado

I just boarded the plane to SD. I can't wait to see my girl!
I am going to add to michael's moms comments about BC. That is definately the hardest part. I kept my phone in my bra...and everywhere I went I told people that I'd my phone rang I was going to answer it. Like the bank...etc. I did not want to miss any chance of talking to her. The first time she called she started to cry. She told me BC is hard but she was still glad she joined. But she missed home. She said when she first got there she was scared and wondered what she got herself into. As for me...I cried for 3 days. It is so nice to be able to talk to her anytime now. But yes I still worry.

At some point in boot camp the PACT SR's meet to discuss their training. I'm not sure if anyone has ever chosen a rate at that point but my son wanted to stay PACT because he didn't know what he wanted. Just a little FYI.

My son said the worse part was the moment of truth because they are exhausted and they have everyone scared stiff!! Also- he might have dental work done but all is good. I actually think the last 4 days home are hard because of that pit on your stomach. The countdown at that stage is for leaving. Then after they leave, you are looking forward to graduation and the countdown is a good thing!!! Read all the documents in bootcamp moms and remind him it is all about teamwork.
