Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi ASHLEY - I am also from RI.  My son is at boot camp now and left on 1/23/13. If you have any questions or need the support, this is where you'll get it.  It can be tough the first few weeks.  I am in Smithfield.  Hang in there!

Hi everyone ,
Last shout out for the packing party tomorrow . Take a look at the December Adoption on Molly's Adopt A sailor group for all the detailed wish list .
These guys and girls are working long hours mending planes and air dropping to so many of our other soldiers . Hope to meet some new faces tomorrow

Molly's Adopt a Sailor, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring our fighting men and women of all military branches deployed are not fogotten. They provide "care packages" to these brave men and women by adopting a unit, collecting donations of food, essentials and other items we take for granted, packing them up and have them delivered to their adopted sailors, soldiers, marines or airmen.
In Dire Need of & Personal Requests (most often requested items):

Hi everyone ,
Just letting you all know that Donna/NYPD had a successful knee replacement this morning , and was resting comfortably this evening . Hope you are all collecting lots of items to bring along to the packing party with you :)
