Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

Austin's Other Mom, is your sailor training for MA or Hospital corpman. All the answers below are great if your sailor is at Lackland but HC are at FT. Sam
wanted to have an easter basket sent to my son at Lackland AFB but not sure if this was exceptable or not? has anyone had treats delivered by an outside co. to the base?
WOW thanks guys great info my son says there is a stray cat on base that most of them feed there food scraps to, he is affectionately named Lt. Meowski...so cute! my son comes from a house of multiple pets so felt right at home with this little rascal running around.
Jax... I am not sure what is on base but off base there is a great hamburger place only in Texas (ok maybe some in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida, New Mexico) but my point is, it was born in Texas! It is called Whataburger. There are other places close by on Hwy 151 and 410. Chipolte, The Egg and I, Five Brothers hamburgers, Freebirds, Genghis Grill and lots and lots more. Then there are the malls. I am sure they will take care of your son and if you have any questions, let me know and I will try to help out as much as possible.
