Just checking to see if anyone has any additional information about Breakfast with the Admiral that is suppose to be on Nov.28 in San Antonio.  Saw the post about looking for a place on Texas Moms, but haven't heard any more.

I work at the Toyota plant and am mostly on dayshift.  I do have two weeks of early shift (6-2:45) and two weeks of late (7:30am-6pm) Next week is my late week but after that my daughter and I are going on a cruise! The week I get back I am on 2nd shift for a week (7pm-4am).  Then I am on the early shift again.  Long story long my schedule is weird so whenever you want to schedule I will try to make it!

snj1959- I would love to get together.  I am a stay at home mom with two kids and I home school so anytime is good for me.  Let me look at some places to meet and then I will post the info here to get other opinions.  I am so glad you enjoyed graduation.  I just received the dvd the other day and enjoyed so much rewatching it.

I also tool the Keel to church to show some our retired Navy men.  They enjoyed it so much and are going to bring in theirs so that I can see them.  One of them graduated basic in 1955 and was stationed for three years in Goose Creek, SC which is where my son is currently attending A school.

My son graduated July 20th from basic.  We got back yesterday it was a great experience!  He will stay in GL for two weeks then go to his A school in VA and then on to CT.  I know I suggested a luncheon but dinner would be ok as well.  What do y'all think?

The Dallas group is planning a luncheon so they can all meet each other.  How about the San Antonio Group have a meet and greet??  My son graduates this Friday from Basic so I will be leaving Thursday and coming back on Sunday.  Maybe sometime soon??

Welcome Sil. I think most of the ladies on here are Moms of A school sailors. The few of us that live here in SA are fairly new to the Navy. My son is currently at A school in Goose Creek, SC. It's nice to have a veteran Navy mom join us.

Good afternoon Ladies!

Welcome snj1959! So happy you found us. My son was put into a push unit as well. I was told that they moved at a little quicker pace because they may have had to process through for a little longer. That's the only thing I heard.

My son graduated from a charter school, Harmony Science Academy. He is now in the NUKE school in South Carolina. He graduated basic on 06/01/12.

Hello San Antonio Moms.  I did not know we had our own group or I would have joined earlier!  My son left of May 29, 2012, his PIR is July 20th. I think he was put in a push group not sure what that means.  I received his first letter Friday.  He will go to A school in Virginia and then on to sub school.  He graduated from Warren High School in 2011.
