OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome!  Glad that you've chosen to join this group!

My son has received his orders to join the Stennis in 2012.  I searched the N4Mom's site, and did not find a group for families of those serving aboard the Stennis.  Therefore, I began this group.  I look forward to 'meeting' each of you!
