Oh my gosh I am just extatic. It is so exciting to hear they are on American soil once again. I cant' wait until tomorrow afternoon too, to see mine. Don't know if I will sleep or not real good. I am going to post a picture my sailor sent me and was on the Obudsmen on facebook.

Msvines--- thank you for the info something to think about. We have discovered something like a vehicle holding place for military while on deployment. Not sure about the expense but does sound good for our needs. Just not sure yet.
We got to Skype with our sailor last night--- it was wonderful. He looked good and he is anxious to get home. Asking about alot of friends & family. He posted pic on FB of him getting a medal a few weeks ago.
It is getting closer each day and I am so excited for all of us.
All have a good day.

I got a call too on Friday evening. It was good to hear his voice. He sounded so positive this time and excited. I can't wait to pick him up at the airport. The only thing about his call the other nite was we lost a signal half way thru. He was on skype.

Mary, I don't know what they do with cars while on deployment. My sailors car is still here at home. Check on the Hawaii site, they usually have good suggestions.

He is a very handsome Sailor. Our boys look so different in their uniforms. We got a call early Friday morning. It was so wonderful to hear his voice. He is looking forward to being back in port. But we will have to wait to see him. :-(((
I hope that the families that are getting to go see them come home take bunches of pics and post. It has got to be a magnificent site to see the ship arrive with the Sailors lined up on deck.
Exciting days are ahead for us all I know we can't wait to chat with them and learn about the adventure they have been on.
Does anyone of your Sailors have a vehicle in Hawaii? If so what did they do with them while on deployment? Our son wants his car sent to him so he can have transportation while he is port. We have considered selling his and giving him the money from the sell to buy something there. But just unsure on what to do. Some of you who have been through this before might have thoughts or suggestions. We would appreciate some.
Keep the chatting ladies I enjoy reading your posts. Take care and enjoy the Super Bowl!!!!

The date on the picture is wrong as you can see. It was October 12th 2007 when he graduated.

Yeah he looks a little older now.

Well I gotta call tonight, did anyone else? It was so good to hear his voice. We did a lot of talking til skype disconnected us. :(   I was like hey I wasn't done talking. Oh well I guess I will just have to wait until he gets here. He did keep trying to call back but it wasn't working. Just my luck.

Well my nephew graduated today too. He even called me this evening. It was so good to hear from him as well. I had to think of who it was because he sounds like my sailor on the phone too. I am so proud of all of the kids. I told my sis well we have another sailor in the family.
