Welcome to our group as well Danielle.
I will second that one Danielle. I just hope with all this stuff with Iran going on they come home when they are suppose to. Does anyone know anything about that? I was reading stuff this morning. Those people are crazy over there.
Waiting patiently for the Port Royal to head back home. Keep safe and hurry home!!!
msvines, I did remove it, thanks. I have been reading up on the 5th fleet too and i hope it doesn't interfere with them coming home either. Although, it feels good to know that they are protecting us. It is crazy about what is going on over there.
I know I am excited for them to be home at that time because their little sisters birthday is the 20th and they will be home for it for a change. SHe is excited too. She will be 9 this year. Wow how time flies.
I hope you guys have a Happy New Year.
Hello Ladies, I havebeen out of touch lately---job hunting and landing a job during hte holidays has just about done me in. I enjoy reading the reccent post. Marcy--I hope it works out the your boys will be home together. I can not wait to see mine!!! But we are going to have to wait till May, he is coming home for his brothers wedding then and will be home for a few days. I am like you I would love to be there when that ship pulls into harbor but i don't see a way with starting a new job and asking off for a wedding a couple of months later.
I read about the steak and lobster that was so wonderful that our kids are taken care of.so well. My prayers are with them every day for them to be safe and come home to us safe.
I hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas, though a bit strange without him here. I pray we all have a Blessed New Year. Take care and I will try to be more deligent about saying hi.
I know I am. I just wished I could be there when he gets off of that ship and surprise him but with school and all I can't be. Did you guys see that they can come home from their last port? I think though it is special circumstances though, not sure. That would be great if they could.
Niether of my sons sent me or us anything. A little dissapointed but that is okay too. I thought they would send something but they don't usually think of things like that, I was surprised they sent me flowers for my birthday.
I did see the post on facebook the other day. I wish I was there for that dinner. Yes Lorraine, I hope night shift gets theirs too.
Well I suppose we are all on the downhill slide for them to be home. I hope we all stay in touch after our sailors get back too. I know mine said he may be home home in the middle of Feb. My Airforce boy and him are trying get together that they will be home at the same time. I will looooovvvvveeee that.
