I did not see the facebook thing. I will have to look though.
Merry Christma to one and all. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you all hear from your sailors.
I hear ya on seeing our sailors in the flesh, I can't wait til that day, as like everyone else. Yes I talked to mine on Thursday, so on Friday they were getting underway again. It was so nice to talk to him as many times as I did. Ya know everytime we go to church and at some point in the service they always ask for prayer request. They always pray for our troops and for the ones who can't be with loved ones during Christmas time and always. Anyways, I always tear up when they do that. I know I am not alone in saying that I miss my sons so much and as it gets closer it gets harder. I can't wait until July, although, I will see him before that, I can't wait to go and spend time with him in HI. I really wish i could be there for homecoming and him getting off of that ship but unfortunately I can't be. I hope I can find someone who is on that ship, a family member on one of my other sites and hopefully they can give him a big hug for me. I really would like to wish you guys all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Hey where is everyone?!!! I guess everyone is busy getting ready for Santas big arrival. I know I am done with my shopping. I wrapped everything except on of my daughters and one of my hubbies presents. Now he wrapped mine too and he put them under the tree already, pure evil I say, pure evil , LOL. He likes to torture me. I am not going to think about it, HA HA. Ya right.
Well hope all is well and you are all ready for Christmas.
I got to talk to my sailor on Thursday again. I hope you all have heard from yours as well. I do believe they were leaving the next day for the sea again. He sounded good. He also said he got my calendar i sent him thru snapfish too. He really liked it too. He said it was great to be able to look at us everyday. My Aiforce boy got all of his things as well. He really liked the mouse pad I got for him from snapfish too. He said it really meant a lot to him and made him miss us even more.
Well hope all is well with all of you.
Well Navy won the football game against Army. They won 21-27, Navy. Congrat's to those players. I didn't get to watch but wished I would have.
I don't think he got one but it would be great if he did. I am happy for the young man in the picture getting the ESWS though. I am sure you will be hearing from yours soon. Mine said they will be where they are for a while.
Yes it is his first deployment. I actually talked to him today and he said it was really really cold that day. I didn't think to ask if he got one too, the next time I talk to him I will though. i would have thought he would have said something. I can't believe I got to talk to him 2 time in less than 2 weeks. Did you hear from yours? There was a change in plans I guess. Nothing major.
Yes I know he is. It is good to see him because I haven't seen him since May. I sent him and email asking what was going on but haven't heard anything yet.
Unless he is surprising me, NOW that would be the best present EVER!!! but I doubt it. He wouldn't think of something like that.
