Well I found one on ebay for 5.99 and ordered it. Thanks Lorraine for the info. It had free shipping too, so that is always a plus. Well gotta go and get something done. Gotta go and get stuff for Thanksgiving. have a good day.

Thanks for the info on Ebay Lorraine. I will look. My nephew leaves for bootcamp on the 29th, so this will be our last Thanksgiving with him for a while. He is going to IT. It is funny my sis is asking me all kinds of questions now.

I will have to check out the bracelets too. They sounds so nice.

I would love to have one of those flags. I did go to the wedsite and put in to win one. What about the blue stars? I dont know about those either.

I am going to check to see if there are other websites that have those flags too.

Well got a few things sent out  to sailor for Christmas. I got on snapfish and sent him a desk top calendar with pictures of all of us and then I sent him a nut can from Hickory Farms.com. The HF sends them stuff for free shipping. I hope he enjoys it all when he gets them. I have some things to send him from me too that I have here at home. I will send him some stuff but then I will save things for him for when he comes home for leave. I feel  a little better about getting those things out to him.

Still working on his present. It worries me that I have not sent it yet. I am missing my sailor so VERY much as I know you all are too. This is also our first anything without him. This is going to be really strange. He called on Monday and said the same thing to wait till he gets home for his Christmas. It is so hard not to shop for him. I love buying my boys things. It makes me feel good to give to them. We have joined with USO for buying calling cardr of our troops can call home. That is real cool!!!! Also the other day we received our Blue Star Flag that hangs in our front window to symbolize we have a serviceman.
Regarding cookies I vacuumed packed them in small bags in hopes he would eat a few at a time, haha. From what he said he ate them ALL.
Yes we have looked on FB and joined the 5th Fleet and his ship. But so far we have not heard anything. Lorraine I will check the inbox. Thanks.

i heard from my sailor today in an email and he said he got my package too. Ya!! I am so happy. It was bunch of his own movies and a case for him to put them in that I bought him. I asked what to send him for Christmas and he said he doesn't have much room that if I wanted to wait til he gets home for leave. I definatley don't want him to go without for Christmas. He said he may not even get it in time for Christmas now. I am still sending some stuff I had bought him. He also said they will be heading back soon and he doesn't know where they will be to receive anything. I hope they take into consideration all the items family members want to send and that it is for Christmas and get it to them in time. I really hate this feeling of not know if he will receive anything in time for it or not. Okay I am going to whine a little too and I am sorry. I know we are all going thru not having them with us and all and I hope you all have great holidays too. I am just having a really hard time because this is my first time in 4 yrs without one of my boys with me on a holiday. I know I have you guys with support and I am very greatful for that. I think once I hear his voice again I will be okay though. Did anyone have any of your sailors in bootcamp over Christmas? My nephew is leaving here on the 29th for it and was wondering if they will let them come home or not. I hope so. My sis will have a really hard time if he doesn't. She won't let it show but we all know how she will feel. I am going to get my Christmas box off on Monday and hopefully he gets it in time.

We still have not heard from the FB rather they have accepted us as friends so that we can keep up with the news of our sailors.  Quite distrubing to think it is has taken this long, about a month I think.  ;-(((((

My husband heard from our sailor today---he has gotten his packages!!!!!!!  HoRah

He siad that he ate all the cookies, i hope he shared them.  He said his diet of eating healthy food has been blown by all the stuff we sent him.

I am not very crafty so I went to Michael's Design(Craft & hobby store) to purchase the stuff to make the tree.  I did not feel like I could cut out a good tree so a Mom in the store who works there did it for me.  Her son just got home form serving in the Air Force.  It makes my heart swell with gratitude that others show how much they care when we tell them what we are doing.  I had all the  people in the storein  tears by the time i left.

Marcy--- the wreath sounds like a good idea.  I thought of buying some reindeer antlers for him to wear or clown around with for fun.  i hope they want get him in any trouble.  He has something about crazy hat day and maybe that will be ok.

Mary, I have no idea if their lockers are metal or not. I think that would be such a great idea too, the tree with pictures for ornaments.

I haven't talked to my sailor lately so don't know if he got my package either. I will have to email him.

Not much going on here, just same old same old.

Hope all is well with you guys

I am trying to think what might good yo send from home to him that will be special to him. With the realization he has little space. Does anyone know if their lockers are metal? I have this idea of making a picture Christmas Tree with the family photos on it for ornaments. Then other goodies too.
Got an email from him but he did not say rather he has gotten any boxes yet.
I hope he does talk to someone about the wedding we are all waiting on him yo decide the date.
Hope all have a good weekend. I will check in later.
