Congrat's Mary on your good news with the wedding and the call. How wonderful.
So frustrated tonight with school. I got my midterm back from last week and was not happy but there was 3 questions that he marked wrong and was right anyways,so that boosted my grade a little. Then we had 5 essay questions and we had to pick which one we wanted to answer. It was worth 10 points. I got a big fat 0. The one I ansered was actually on the test and I wrote down that answer and an example that he wanted but he said my example wasn't one he had given but I argued with him, well sort of, and said it was on the paper he gave us at the beginning of the semester. He said it wasn't and I showed him it was. He had better give me some points for it or I am going to the head of the department and going over his head. If he didn't like the first answer in saying what it was then he should at least give me 1/2 because it was an example he gave us. I hope I explained that right. I am so fruststrated over it. So I am venting and thanks for listening.
Thank you for posting that Lorraine. I need to keep up with the facebook page. I barely have time to be on facebook at all lately.
Sitting here watching the Steelers play. They are doing rather well. Beating the Cardinals today. Sorry if anyone on here is a fan of Cardinals.
Well we booked our hotel for Hawaii next summer in July already. I am soooooo excited, only 8 more months to go. Not counting or anything.
Yeah I agree, I sometimes when I read his emails I put his voice with it too.
Yes, we will be selling cookies in January, so I am not sure if they will be back before I get them sent. I didn't think about it. It would depend on when they get back and when the cookies will be in. We will have a booth and I am going to make a sign to say ask if anyone would like to donate cookies to our sailors on deployment. I will run it by my co-leader but I am sure she will agree.
Mary, I didn't get a call from my sailor,I have a son in the Airforce too and that is who I got my call from. He was in Iraq and now on his way back to Japan his home base. I agree with you , I miss his voice. I like the emails but not the same.
msvines, he doesn't usually tell me until after they have left the port. Once in awhile not all the time. I was just curious. I wish I had more time to do cookies to send to send them all some cookies to share. I do believe I am apart of the Port Royal on facebook. I will have to check. With school and other things going on, I am lucky to have time to think. Yes they need a shout out. What a wonderful thing to do for our sailors. I think when we sale girl scout cookies I will try and get people to donate cookies to send to them too. I think that would be a great idea. That is another thing I am doing, starting a girl scout troop. I am excited about it. My co-leader is a teacher and is a wonderful friend, so I think we will have a good time with the kids.
