Welcome Brenda, we are a great bunch of parents and glad to have you join us.  This is a good way to stay in touch with our sailors.

I am very disappointed that they had to leave again since we have a wedding in 2 months.  We have moved the wedding once already and can't do it this close to the big day.  Our sailor is suppose to be best man for his brother.  I hope this is a quick escapade and they return safely and QUICKLY!!!!!!!

We are in the area of the country who had the tornadoes yesterday--I sent our sailor info about the crazy weather.  No dmage to our home but some of our friends lost quite a bit.  Way too CLOSE for me.

I had an email from him and he said the waters are rough and he has felt a bit queasy, he said he was going to get some anti-nausea medicine from the base before he left.  I hope he did.

I am so sorry they had to leave so soon but it is nice to say hello to all of you ladies.  Keep me posted as you can.  Take care..

Hello Brenda and welcome. I know what you mean when you say you hope he is there when you get there next month because mine won't be there when get there in July. I was really dissapointed when i hear that.

See my son is getting out in August due to all this not knowing where he will go for only 1 yr. See was to get out in 2013 anyways so he just took an early out. He will be in for 5 yrs by then. He is ready to be home and he is going to go to school when he gets back. I am just scared for him because of just the unknown for his future. DOes that make sense. I have just known where he is and was all the time because of the Navy. I alwasy knew he had a steady paycheck too. We are still going in July because we have had our tickets since last November. Who would have known he will be at sea then. He wasn't sure of where he would be going so he asked for  an early out.

Danielle, I hear ya on that one. It does seem like they just got back. I guess this is something we have to get use to. Well it won't be long as far as I know. Let's cross our fingers at least.

So how is everyone on here? Not too bad here. It is beautiful here today in PA.

Well I know where mine will be going. He will be coming home.LOL.  He is getting out in August. I guess they will be distributing them else where from what I have heard. Mine is getting out a year early because he doesn't want to go anywhere else.

Hello ladies. Just checking to see where everyone went to. I feel like since the ship came in no one talks on here. I miss you guys.
