My son is actually an AOAN assigned to a hornet group and is based at NAS. He leaves in a week or so for Fallon for a month and then will return and go on deployment the end of November on the HST.

My son was on the Tarawa a couple of times and they had the same thing. I would assume the Truman would too. I'll poke around on the website. The reports are pretty general as I remember as they cannot tell you where they are, what they are doing or where they are going. I think they said where they had been. All OPSEC, you know.

Mary- Ahhhh... your son is a detailer. No we certainly can't blame the messenger. After 11 years our son has now decided that he must not know what he wants to do. Every time he puts in request, the Navy always has a different plan. Sometimes it turns out better than others... but it's not a job, it's an adventure. Right?

Mary- Are you implying that my son will drop that net filled with supplies on their deck and break something? hehehehe He's a vertrep master!
