One mom told me she got a t-shirt with "THE JET SETTERS" for her daughter. Another has "I SPEED FOR A LIVING" and "I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR". I don't think my son would wear a t-shirt with "THE BUBBLEHEADS' on it. Maybe "THE STEALTH FORCE". Now you understand why my husband is offering the farm for a chick jet pilot in the family. Maybe Erin has a young friend for our 22 year old.

Chris,
Ask Erin to talk to her CO. Special request from N4Ms in San Francisco. We are asking for Erin to be part of formation. PLEASE! With any luck, they WON'T be back next week.
BTW, it's a good thing that you corrected the info before I told me husband; otherwise, he would've insisted that they stop over at Moffett so we could take them to dinner. On top of that he would have offered a writ-in to his will in exchange for marriage to one of our sons. You have my permission to tell Erin she has a marriage proposal on the table. LOL

Chris: From one pilot mom (Prowler) to another pilot mom - tell Erin we are still so proud of her! Even if her flyover was not part of an official event.

Okay - my bad - I could have sworn Chris said Erin was in the flyover - that would have been awesome, but just knowing she was in the area is very cool too :) Well at least I know you all are hanging on everyone's comments - luv you guys!!

What impresses me is not only the person who shot this pic below, but look at all the other people in the shot that are doing the same! Obviously we are not the only impressed with our Navy!

LOL Much more interesting if Erin had been part of the formation. Even though I posted on my FB with only friends and friends of friends able to see it. An urban legend might have started!

@ Bee Thanx for the great photo. I love the giant flag and the red white and blue bunting in the staduim. American pride at it's best. Wish I was home to see the fly over on TV, you can't see much on the radio.

and please let Erin know that if she is up our way (we live 10 minutes south of Stanford - half way between San Jose Airport and San Fran Airport) and needs a place to stay, a home cooked meal an interesting restaurants to sample, a ride - just let me know. We are empty nesters. Guest room with queen sized bed available and ready for occupancy. If she wants, she can even come for one of our meet and greets. Click on link below. The photos are from our meet and greet at my house Oct '09.
