Not a sports fan, either is the husband and I love every minute that we can spend together NOT in front of the TV. Sorry to break so many bubbles, but there is a life outside of whatever "ball" game that is going on. Besides, if it is so important to know what's going on, watch the late news: they give all the highlights and the score in a minute of your time. Hug the kids, kiss the mate, pat the dog and enjoy each other. Love to our troops!

I grew up an Oiler's fan, so I cannot help but hate the Steelers. They knocked the Oilers out of too many play off games in the 70s. I live in Denver now so have become a Broncos fan by default. Not a good season so far for us.

New England Patriots fan! Don't like the long hair on Brady though but was glad to have Branch back. Will miss Randy Moss for sure!

Any Steeler Fans? Sorry, born and raised in the Steel City. Haven't lived there in a long time but still follow them the best I can. Live now in MI and the Lions aren't the same.
By the way the Top Gun Theme is played her at the Willow Run airshow when the Blue Angels are in town. Quite a show. My LO (son) and I always go - have even seen the Thunderbirds - both are very inmpressive. The air show has a Stealth fly over - also very impressive.
Love the airshows - my LO has always been drawn to flying - he is a SWO and getting ready to finish SWO school and stop in MI for some stuff and heading out to So California for his next phase. He has taken a few private flying lessons and hopes to continue and eventually get his license.

NavyMomXXXY, you stole Aaron Rodgers. We wanted the Niners to draft him instead of Alex Smith. Favre - thumbs down. Cutler is great, deserves a line a keep him from being mangled every game.
Remember LuAnn whose son Taylor had the collapsed lung? She met us at a local sports bar/restaurant for the Giants game tonight. Go Giants. Taylor is doing well. He is out of submarines (except right now he is on the boat because it's dry docked). He is looking around for something else to do because he can't be deployed on a sub again.

@ 2 I was born and raised in NJ, Iselin to be exact. I have pinstripes in my blood and will always pull for the Bronx Bombers (even when they stink)! I live in CA now and have for over 35 years. Last year I had the devine pleasure of meeting CC Sabathia and his wife. Ironically it was at a Sacto Kings game! His pic sits on my desk right next to the one when I met Bernie Williams!
