OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Not a football fan...baseball is my game of choice. Paymaster and her husband are corupting my puppy by making her watch football and NASCAR! Go Yankees!

We're Vikings fans also. Husband is from northern MN. Beating Green Bay is almost as good as winning the super bowl.

BunkerQUEENBee - thanks for the playlist - very cool!!

NavyMomXXXY - your post is SO ironic!! We just got back from a a Chicago/Wisonsin vacation. Visted family near Milwaukee, then drove up to Green Bay for the night. Did the stadium tour while there. Also bought a FEW things and one of them was a poster of an overhead shot of Lambeau taken during the Dallas/GB game in 2009 - pic attached. It was the coolest tour ever! Got some fresh mowed Lambeau grass :)

ENJOY THIS TODAY. reminding us when we were young and .... I'll delete this tomorrow. To control the volume, look for the sliding bar on the upper right (to control volume) and the icon just underneath (to turn sound on and off).

Get a playlist! Standalone player Get Ringtones

I get shivers every time I hear the music. This past weekend at Atlanta Navy Week's Air Show a hush came over 150,000 spectators on both Saturday and Sunday when the "Top Gun" theme came over the speakers. Everyone held their breaths for that first glimpse of the Blue Angels and the roar of the engines. My son just spent a month at NAS Fallen - home of Top Gun and is now aboard his carrier. While not "Iceman", he is known as "Disco."

Yes for a movie over 25 years old it will be in the hearts of many...for many reasons!

its always amazing when you find out that you are not the only one who can quote dialog from "Top Gun" and who has the soundtrack in the car, readily available!!!
