Computer tip for those with poor eyesight.
Did you all know that you can "increase" or "decrease" the size of everything on your screen, by holding down the "Ctrl" key with one finger and turning the little dial on top of your mouse? Try it. I just found out about this little trick and thought I had invented sliced bread.

Question - my son is leaving for OCS tomorrow - on the OCS website under items to bring it says $300 to pay for the initial haircut and the rest will be put into the company petty cash fund. I assume this means that he should have the $300 in cash in his wallet and not just have a debit card with access to the $300. Does anyone know?

Hi all, just posted this in Naval Aviation, but thought I'd put it here too:

I am traveling to Chicago on 10/6 and will be there a few days on my own (husband has a business meeting and I'm tagging along) - anyone out there in that vicinity?? We are then heading up to Wisconsin to visit his family south of Milwaukee, then on to Green Bay on Monday the 11th - I know there's some gals here that are in that part of the country and would love to try to meet you-let me know!
