OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Congrats to the new officers!! And to the moms as well.
IsP3Orion...if you ever get the chance to go aboard the P-3....go for it. You will be amazed at all the equipment that is in that plane! I am sure that it has changed a lot since my husband and I were about to tour it. Congrats again!!

Are there any moms in the N.E. Fla. area, haven't met any yet

Concrats wavnavymom - yay on the promotion - sounds like he is away already - my son was sworn in officially as a Lt. JG on Friday! He just logged his first hours in the P3 - 5 total - said it was very tiring and amazing at the same time. He sent a pic of him beside it and he looks like an ant (posted on my page) - still can't believe small humans can actually fly these big birds!
