Hi all,

As I pray for all our troops and sailors I hope you all will join with me in prayer for my daughter Lauren and all her shipmates as they head to Haiti this week to provide Disaster Relief to the island of Haiti.

Happy New Year everyone. We were totally blessed to have our son and his family here for Christmas! His deployment was delayed until the coming Spring so we were able to have a totally bonus holiday.

For future reference, I live half way between San Francisco Airport and San Jose Airport. Let me know your son/daughter need something. Bea

DJ ... just got a call last night that our son and his wife will be passing through our area next Tuesday. We'll have him home all of one day and one night just before Christmas. Unfortunately, he has to get back to base. But, still, what a wonderful surprise and early Christmas present!

I am not sure if there is a Whidbey site-this is my son's second time at Whidbey. In between he was at China Lake CA. He is involved in the training aspect of the new Growler platform.
