Vianca92, in the beginning phone calls are going to be scarce, but as the time passes, your SR will have opportunities to call or even earn time to call. It just all depends on a lot of things. His mom will get the format letter and address within about a week to two weeks. Once she receives that, you can start to write him. Mail is typically held for the first week. Some articles said it was to train the people who would do the mail distribution and whatnot, im not completely sure. But as soon as you get the address, make sure you copy it down exactly as it is written. Use plain white envelopes and do not decorate the envelope or paper with glitter, sticker, ect. this can get some un wanted attention from the instructors. My boyfriend gets inducted in a couple of days. I feel very lost because I'm new to the whole military thing. I just feel really nervous. He wants to go in as a CTT and he says he wants to leave for boot camp in about 6 months. Is it normal for me to be so worried even though I know it isn't very logical?
