Didn't get much sleep last night but now I think i need to get out and collect myself. Just wrote to my daughter how they will be relieved soon.
I can't wait till they are out of RC and on their way home.

Glad to hear everyone is hearing from their sailors!!! Heard from Dustin he says not o worry they are fine. But we are mothers and fathers thats are right!!! ill be so glad when this is over and they are all back in Norfolk and safe on land!!!!!!

My daughter is saying the same thing. They are very busy and don't worry because they are fine. But I agree, we are mother and father and that is what we do.

USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) Ombudsman's Corner Ann, you can purchase trip insurance. From our understanding if the date of our HC is changed, a copy of the new orders will suffice in changing the date of the ticket. Please check with your carrier that you are going to go with.4 hours ago

I'm playing an April fool's prank on my FB page today. I even drove to the lottery place so I can foursquare it. I said I had won Colorado's cash 5 and posted my winning ticket. Hehehehehe. Photoshop is a powerful tool!

Just bought a blue star flag for my house on Amazon today to honor my Jamie out there. My old high school friend retired navy captain told me about it. Getting the house all ready for when she comes home. Can't wait.

I am still waiting my sailor does not know yet if she has leave right after HC

if our sailor does not, then we will postpone going too see her

because we will not be able to spend anytime with her after HC. she will have to stay on the ship working
