I saw Ayla Brown sing this on Huckabee tonight-well, it was actually from 10-6, but I saw it tonight.   Love the song.

  • Dana (David's Mom)

First for me too. Thanks for sharing. Loved it.

  • Sue-Pillowcase lady

thanks Dana.   Wish I could figure out  how to get the playlist back on here.  I miss the music.

  • Maryellen

Sue, You have to Add the App for this, it is on the left hand side of the page, click on it and then go to Music (also on the left) and click on Background Tunes, you are already there on that one so all you may have to do is reinstall it. Hope this helps.

  • Sue-Pillowcase lady

when I open this page, the column to the left is blank white-nothing there.

there are icons across the top where it says Navy for moms.  Is it one of those?

  • Sue-Pillowcase lady

Today I recived this from a Young man that was injured in a Heliocopter crash in the sandbox. I was asked to do special pillowcase for him and his family. Here are the pictures and email from him today. You talk about making my day. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

    Dear Mrs Peller!
I received the wonderful pillowcases today that you made for me and my family. Each one is just perfect! Lori & the kids are coming up this weekend to visit me, and I know the kids will love theirs.
Thank you again, so much, for taking the time to customize the cases for us. And thank you for all the Heads At Ease ladies who make the pillowcases. :-)

    Andy

How wonderful--to me, these are even more special--made for specific persons with specific needs--a heart from home

  • Jodi-alumni Ship 4

Maryellen, what a nice thank you to receive!  It's nice to know that all your hard work is appreciated.

The other day I was on the Rescue Swimmer site and mentioned to one of the ladies who has a son on the USS Boxer that HAE had received a thank you from a sailor along with a picture of his helo. She then posted a picture from the article about Sue and HAE on the site. A mom on there said she would like to help but her machine was broke so she wanted to know if you took donations. I told her yes. Is it alright to post your email on that site?

  • Maryellen

    Jodi,

Thank you it is nice to know that it was well recieved. If you give out Sue's email please do it in a private message. I know both Sue and I like to stay on the downlow when it comes to things like that.

Such fun/bright and colorful pcs Maryellen.  Thanks for doing this!   AND we thought the package was somewhat lost in GA.  I sent him a package at the same time with cards made by the kids and it was lost too.  But he found them!  So happy.

Can you repost those things in the 2013 misc thread as well?  That's where I put the info for his unit once Debbie and I had mailed to them.

I do not want my email address on sites.  But a private message is fine or better yet, have her contact me or ME direct.

New numbers added for 3 small Army groups mailed this week.

    Happy Thursday!

  • Jodi-alumni Ship 4

They will be the last group of soldiers to leave Afghanistan at the end of next year. What they do is incredibly dangerous. They look like really great guys. I'm so glad we are sending them pillowcases. I

I received this beautiful gift of a Japanese Tea set from the Crew of the USS Fitzgerald. I did the Command pillowcases for that ship and Sue suggested I share the picture with you all. As soon as I master the art of the Tea Ceremony, you are all invited to enjoy a cup.

  • Jodi-alumni Ship 4
