900's division sailors

thank you hossiemamma.  Have you received any letter yet besides the first generic one?

Just got off the phone with my SR.  He sounded GREAT!  Such a great relief!  And by the way, he said the shot in the butt hurt ALOT!  He got 10 min which was absolutely wonderful.  He said they are down 4 people in their division. 

Yahoooo -just got a phone call from my SR - was so glad to hear his voice.  He sounded good but I could tell he was really missing us as we are missing him TOO!!!!

mother of 2 - the way he made it sound, it was 4 that were separated.  He also said that 02/921 were able to write their first letters today so will be looking for mail mid-week.  He also said RDC told them they would have their first mail call tomorrow.

Heard from my son today.  Was so glad to hear his voice.  He is in Ship 02 Div 921.  I am so proud of him.

Got a long call from my daughter she sounds great, so proud

Does anyone know the address for Ship O2 Div 921?  I haven't received my form letter yet and failed to get it yesterday when my son called.  Any ideas?

Just got a call from my son Div 921.  Very upbeat and says all is well.

Lisa Harrel : My daughter is also in ship 020 Div 916. From comments in the group PIR 02/28/2014 I believe it is true. We only have about 8hrs to see them if the are shipping out to A  school the following day. If they ship out on Sunday then we get the extra time with them but we will know only their schedule during PIR day.

Did you get any call yet from your son how div 916 did in BS 21? 

So what does it mean if your SR is a 900 division but is a "non-performer"?

AHawk- Is your SR in Div 921?  There are three groups that make up the 900 division.  One is what they call Triple Threat - it consists of choir, band and drill team.  The second is called Sticks - they are the flag group.  The third group is the Ship Staff/Honor Guard.  Div 921 is the Ship Staff division.  For example, my SR will be manning the door the RTC command and guests walk through during PIR.

AHawk - here is what information I could find about Div 920 -

920: Triple Threat: PIR 03/28/2014 TG 20 - 9 Divisions (119-124, 810, 811, and 920)

(Division 920 will also perform during the 03/14/2014 PIR and the 03/21/2014 PIR.)

my daughter PIR 4-18-2014 ship 2 div 923.... what does this mean....anyone know?

jnsallv, 923 is a performing division, and I think it is Triple Threat: choir, band and drill.  My son is in the same division!

My son is ship 02, Div  924 , he just sent me a note that they haven't started training and he's been there for a week.  They hadn't gone to medical yet, so training hasn't started.

No call today.  They must be busy.  Hope to hear next week, or get a letter this week.

Any one from the 924 division receive a phone call yet? Any news on training yet?  I haven't heard anything.  Trying to make travel arrangements for the PIR.  

Wow - really wish I would have found N4M before now - Ship 02 - Div 920   PIR March 28. I had no idea what a 900 Division was. Good to know.

Call yesterday and mail today.  I am so glad to hear from my son.  He is so ready to be out of there, but looking forward to reporting to Pennsacola 4/5.  Short visit after graduation, but weekenders while he still here in Florida.  Proud Navy mom, I am.

Please don't forget to check in and post in your PIR group!!! Some of those sailors who are not in the 900 division will be attending A School with your SRs, and all of you in the same TG will all be attending PIR together.

My SR is also on Ship 2 Division 927....crossing our fingers that information is correct on the May 16th graduation date.

Carolinagirl.  Do you know what your SRs job is during the PIR?  Because he will be at this Friday's PIR for the 924 division.  If you watch LiveStream you might get a glimpse of him.  Or if you know what his "job" is during the ceremony, I'll be there taking random pictures so I can post on the 900 Div FaceBook page.

My son is in 928.....anyone else out there with an SR in that division?????  Would like to possibly meet up at PIR meet and greet, maybe get a table together.
