Hi all, I am new to this group also. Our daughter has RTC PIR next week and is headed to San Antonio right after. We have her car in NY so were also wondering if she is able to get it and if it is even worth trying to get it to her in TX? She really wants to go Greenside but we heard it is hard for females to get in. She is tough and determined but any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
bhmom: Congrats to daughter. No car for my boy, either. He used Uber and Lyft. WARNING: 3 mos. after he left Ft. Sam for Guam, Uber began charging his card $26.95 for Uber Pass, and continued for over a yr. He never signed up for Uber Pass. Guam doesn't have Uber. Uber doesn't have a phone no. A search revealed massive over billing by Uber to riders for Uber Pass. Looks like they're still doing it. I got him a full refund thru Twitter 'chat.' Who doesn't love chatting issues w/ an agent, who may or may not understand English? Never again. I hold grudges:)
Dreytown, thanks for the info, I warned her about Uber Pass. That is really crappy they would do that. Our girl and the other Phase 1 newbies were told classes won't start til mid-late Jan so she is going to have to find something to do besides working out. I am just going to keep her car here. It doesn't make sense to try and get it all the way down there.
Good to hear she has quite the posse going though so think they are all in good hands.
