I hope those of you who were able to have your sailors home had a wonderful time. We had a whirlwind of a time with our sailor family and the rest of mine, but it was good to get hugs and to have them in our neck of the woods after a three-year absence!!

Happy New Year to all of my new friends here that I met this year!  From bootcamp to GC I am so thankful to you all.  Forever thankful and wish greatness to all!  it is tough.... we are Navy Moms!!  Health, happiness and prosperity to all of our Sailors!

Y'all, these fires in SoCal are bad....our winds are out of control, multiple fires burning, structures lost - 1000 homes and buildings.  I've even heard now a few lives have been lost.

Please pray for the firefighters and everyone in the path of the fires.

Cute picture!! As I looked out at our snow yesterday, I wished I could transport my older grandchildren to our backyard. They rarely get snow, and they would have so much fun!!

Good advice for anyone in the snow areas, especially where it is less common.
