Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons

Good Morning everyone, I am hoping all of you get calls today from your recruits. I know it won't be long at all now until you are hugging them to pieces :-) Maybe some of you will even be able to Skype with them. It is a free download on your smart phone so check it out. We will be Skyping with our Sailors this morning and they will be home in 3 days. I miss my daughter so much and can't wait to see her. Have a wonderful day and enjoy some time with your family and friends. Merry Christmas.

Someone asked if I knew if there were pics for 906 on FB. Not specifically that I could find. I know the 900 divisions perform at a couple of PIR's before their own so I am providing the link for the 02/16/2011 PIR and you can look through and see if you spot anyone from 904 or 906. Good Luck!

This Christmas was definitely different and everyone felt the empty hole around the table, but I have to say, seeing her in a few days will be the best Christmas gift ever. Thank you all for helping me on my journey.

I needed to arrange transportation to get my daughter back on base at 6am on 1/01/12. I did not want to put my friends out that early in the morning. Sarge is a jem! It is all taken care of!

I can't believe that we are leaving tomorrow! diannep, you video brings tears of joy to my eyes I can only imagine what I am going to be like when I see me daughter walk into the Hall. Praying for traveling mercies for all those traveling in the next couple of days. We will see you there!! :)

That was a great video. I can't believe that I get see my daughter in 2 more days. 8 weeks ago it felt like it would not get here, but with the support from everyone on this site helped me through each day & week. I have made new frieds & hope our friendship continues. You all are so great thank you for all your support. I could not have got through this transition without you all.

A must-take-to-PIR...lots of kleenex! Although some don't cry, I was a mess! So have it just in case! :-) And I didn't even spot my sailor during the entire PIR! Still cried like a baby...emotions cooped up for so long while they are in bootcamp...just can come pouring out...but they are very happy/proud tears!

So excited for you all. Safe travel for those leaving today!

Question for the veteran moms!!!

Is it just luck or can you sit fairly close to where your sailors division will stand? Is it labeled in any way?I know he will be the first division most likely but will they guide us at all? :)

Yahoo finally made it to Chicago. I'm staying at the ramada. How do I find out where Sarges meet and greet is and how to get there. I'm so lost Cheyenne wy is very small compared to here.

Sarges meet n greet is a must, he provides so much info, what a blessing he is to Navy moms and families. I'm so excited I know I won't sleep tonight! I have plenty of Kleenex handy, we can't wait to see our son. See you all tomorrow,dress warmly, it's pretty cold.

THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! Hope that some of you are on your way to RTC and ready to enter the PIR hall. Have a wonderful adventure! Remember to order extra pics in the NEX after PIR if you like, and make sure to order the PIR DVD ($29). Don't get caught up too much in filming it yourself...make sure to take time to enjoy every moment of today's ceremony. Have Kleenex available for those who may get emotional like I did (even though I didn't spot my SR during the entire ceremony...maybe THAT is why I cried? :-) ).

Had a great day with my daughter. She took her dad and I out for some Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. She was so excited by the fact that they gave her and military discount!! :) We are so proud of how much she has grown! We are going to see the city tomorrow and will have a half day with her on Saturday. Time is going by too quickly.

Today was amazing. Spending time with my sailor & then she is flying home with me for 5 days then to school.she will & it will be hard, but not as hard as hard as when she left for boot camp
