Annette how wonderful! You must be enjoying your Sailor by now ahhhhh...how wotnderful! Please let us know if he was able to surprise his sister at highschool! God bless our Sailors!
I asked the older sister if she wanted to go to the airport with me, she thought we were picking up sailor's friend. Her reaction was priceless! And yes, we walked in to younger sister's last period class, and surprised her as well! One of her classmates said, "I never thought I would see one of these in real life!" , talking about the surprise reunion. It was awesome. The dog was pleased as well! I posted videos on fb.
Awwww...great looking family! My puppies came completely undone when my son pulled up in the driveway! They have not seen him in a year. But then they were more interested in his car!! Too funny!!
So glad that your sons are coming home! My mom, sailor and I went to NYC today. The weather was perfect, the crowds were crazy:-)! It was our first time and I was so happy to share it with them. Some nice business man on the train gave my sailor money and thanked him for his service, and he wasn't even in uniform! Those haircuts are a dead give away lol! My son was very appreciative of that, and I cried. Well, tomorrow we are headed to Boston to seethe sights. I have loved being with him,and dont know how I'm going to leave him in a couple days. Merry Christmas and God bless all of you and your families! Kevsmom, if you want me to pick up anything for your son, just let me know. I would love to!
Mrsb are you at the airport? Are you three yet m are you there yet? toc... Hahaha I'm so happy for you two! Give him an extra NMH from me!!!!! Yes, I'm still waiting for mine Lord have mercy!
So happy for all the moms who have their boys with them tonight, what a blessing. and may God give us the graces we need to those of us who are still waiting on our sailors ! So exciting yet... well you know, nerve wracking too. :)
Eaglefan, you got me teary eyed.thank you for sharing your awesome day with your Sailor. The haircut dead give away is right. And I'm sure you hanging all over him had a lot to do with it hahaha they look so nice, like the nice and brave men they truly are! So good to hear there are still good people out there that recognize what our sons are doing.
Moms, you only have to deal with my misspelled words one more day. I changed internet service and they are coming to install it tomorrow. Mercy.
So here I am on my cell trying to type without this thing replacing my words :D I'm starting to feel like the only chicken who's egg hasn't hatched yet :/ ok.my time will come soon enough, chin up, chin up. thank you Jesus!
Kevsmom93 he says on the 22, Sunday, but no exact time. He is very creative and always keeps me on my toes so no telling what he has planned. His gf got to see him in September, and I have not seen him since June. bless her heart, she must be a wreck too. I can't wait to get my hugs I will take all I can get! Hahaha you and your hubby & boys are in my daily prayers. Fine young men. So blessed I got to meet all off you at airport after PIR.
I bet Mrsb literally has her hands and arms full right about now Hahaha
Wow, that must be tough not knowing a time...sounds like he's going for a bit of a surprise maybe :-) The 22nd is not too far off but waiting is never easy when it comes to our boys, but I know you can do it! Can't wait to hear an update on his future visit. He's going to have to share the wealth with mom and GF!
I will never forget that day at the airport and meeting you, it was a special moment. Still remember your brilliant smile and sparkling personality!! I remember Kevin pointing out your son and and how he was keeping everyone together and organized. That's awesome that he has the responsibility of set up of base events, congrats to him.
Yep mrsb should be basking in the love of her little boy about now :-D
Oh I live hearing everyone's happy stories of their sailors coming home! Mine are home too! They both got in yesterday at 1:30 & 7:10. It was also my birthday! Best birthday EVER! After we picked up the second one we went to eat at Texas Roadhouse, that's where they worked before they left. We asked if they would want to go eat there & they both said they really wanted to & all the staff was so excited to see them! Well, the boys didn't know we had about 30 people there waiting to welcome them home! They were so surprised, it was great!
I will get pics posted soon. Everyone enjoy your sailors & Merry Christmas!
doubletrouble, Happy Belated Birthday! What an awesome gift, having them both home at the same time!! You are very lucky!!
Yes, my son is home, sleeping!!! I don't think I've ever hugged anyone so hard as I did him last night at the airport!!! I checked his room this morning when I got up and, yep, he's really there!!! We didn't get to bed until around 3 so this will be a slow day for me! LOL!! Just going to tidy up the house and make some cookies, very low stress today-after waiting for him all this time I need to relax!!!
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and enjoying the time if your sailor made it home.
Thoughts and Prayers for all of the sailors that did not get the chance to make it home and the ones in far away places serving so that we can enjoy the Holidays in peace.
Thank you CO ProudParent!!! I'm so happy my son is home, my older son is here tonight and my Sailor son's friend is here tonight too for Dad's home made pizza! I wish they could all come home for Christmas, but am very grateful that mine could.
thank you CO_ proud parent. God bless you. I'm still waiting for mine to get home.
I'm at my oldest Son's home with my sweet daughter In- law who is expecting my next grandbaby, and my girls, having dinner, but we bought the pizza, unlike Mrsb's husband who baked a home made one :) now I'm enjoying watching them put together a gingerbread house to decorate <3
Mrsb sounds like your home is THE fun home! Prob again! I can just see you with your kids when they were younger, and your home full of the neighborhood kids. Hahaha
mrsb I am so incredibly happy for you. What a beautiful picture, you look sooo content. Your son is just as handsome as I remember him! Enjoy your time together as a family again they are such precious moments that we will all learn to cherish. Hugs, Sandy :-D
ProudNavyMom#1I almost bought a gingerbread house dec. kit at Michael's tonight, they also had gingerbread cookie kits on sale. But I thought who's going to eat it all? I'm glad everyone is having fun with their families and taking the time to post...I am enjoying every bit of your stories :-D

He's home!!!! MY SAILOR IS HOME!!!!! Hahaha, thank you Jesus! And he did surprise me too! We were at my older Sons home and my Sailor Son called asking himwhere I was? Haha Sailor was at my house knocking but no one answered Hahaha so we all started screaming and waited for him and his GF to get to older Son's home. Those were the longest 10 minutes of my life Hahaha!
We stayed and listened to him sharing some of his schooling then came home.
Lord, how I missed hearing his strong and sure step upstairs! <3
It is 2:30am here and he is in his room asleep. So are my girls.
Thank you Lord! I am one of many blessed mommas right now.
God bless us all, and to all a God nite

Fathomom, let's get together next week sometime with our Sailors and husbands and sons!!!
ProudNavyMom, you are right about my house being the hangout-I loved it, especially since I knew where my kids were all the time!!! It was fun though, and the neighbor kids still come by when they're home. :)
My mom and I had a great time with my son. It went by too quickly! I don't know how I let go of him when I took him back the base. I feel so blessed to have the time I did with him. It was the best Christmas present ever!
Awh, Eaglefan! Your Sailor is so handsome and has that proud stand! Just like you do too!!! You must be so proud of him!!! Beautiful Picture!!!! Glad you had an awesome Christmas with him and your Mom.
I've been very busy cooking and cleaning and talking and loving on my Sailor and girls! I haven't posted pics yet, but I saw your pic and just had to let you know what a beautiful memory you have of your time with him.
I don't even want to think about saying goodbye to my Sailor yet! I will deal with it when it comes.
I know how hard it must have been for you Eaglefan :/ Big Navy Mom Hug!!
To all my Dear N4M's, my Sailor Son came home the day before Christmas eve and he DID surprise me!!! I was so happy!!!
On 12/23 he got engaged to his beautiful and sweet HS sweetheart! Please pray with me that God's Will be done. I am so happy and proud of him and wish them both all the blessings our Lord can give them. It must be difficult for his Fiance with him being in the Navy and long separations, so she will need all the support I can give her and our prayers. Thank you in advance for your prayers :-) I will post pics later. God bless us all!!! Merry Christmas Season and Happy New Year!!!!
ProudNavyMom, you know my prayers are with you and all of your family, including a new daughter-in-law!!! Enjoy your time with Thomas-my time with Evan is going much too fast I'm afraid.
Thank you mrsb! I love to see your pics too! You started something with that sleeping pic! I took one of those too hahahaha I love to see our family growing! No baby on the way :-) I meant the Fiance! hahahaha My time going too fast too!
Is your fridge empty too? hahaha Had to go to the grocery store again! I love it! Cooking twice a day, full meals! I love it!!!! THANK YOU MY SWEET JESUS!!!!
The girls are eating it up! my youngest one is truly bouncing off the walls!!! HAHAHA ok got to run! Big hug!
ProudNavyMom, congrats on your son's engagement! I will be praying for God's grace for him and his fiancé. I can't imagine how difficult it will be for them, but with God all things are possible! I too found myself watching my son sleep; my mom and I probably wore him out with the hugs and "I love you's":-)! Mom's, don't count the days until your son's leave, just make every moment count. We are such blessed moms to have young men such as these who have chosen to serve! Praying for you all to have a New Year filled with God's favor and abundance!
Our Adopted Sailor John Spent Christmas Day and evening with our family. He asked me could he spend the night to be part of a family. He asked if he could bake the apple pie, we all watched holiday movies, and he and my daughter played video games. OMG, we loved being able to make his Christmas that much nicer.
I miss my son that is stationed in San Diego. This is the first time in 22 years that I didn't spend the holiday with him. Happily my husband is there now spending a few days with him. :)
Oops! Sorry Donna. This Sailor was loved and well cared for this Christmas! What a blessing he must have been for you. If not your Son, then Adopted Son's are welcomed too! :-) Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all! God bless,
