Completed MEPs now on to BC
HI my son completed MEPS yesterday and his ship off date is March 29, 2018. His Job will be an MA in the Navy?
My question is if he ships off on that date and finishes BC on time what might be the approximate date of his Graduation? May 25, 2018?? I want to plan on being there, but need to know in advance.
2nd question is PDays in addition to the 8 weeks of BC?

By counting 9 Fridays, PIR will most likely be 05/25/2108 for those who ship on 03/29/2018. Since he will ship at the end of the week, it could be 06/01/2018 if he is held over for the next week’s TG. That is less likely to happen in the spring than in the summer or in November and December, but is still possible. It is possible for some who arrive on the same date to have PIR a week apart. Wait on The Form Letter to know the PIR date for sure. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what to expect.

I was so excited to find out that my husband and & I can our son swear in before he leaves to BC. Really looking forward to that.

My son leaves in April and chose the same rate! :) I hope they don't move up his ship date!
