Start Dates for School

Good morning,

Does anyone know the start date of classes?  My son will be graduating basic Nov 30.  I curious to know if he will be on casual status for the month of Dec when he arrives at A school.  Any information would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

    From my son's experience, they are in a processing like mode ( getting settled in etc) and are on Stage 1 for liberty which means they have time they can spend on base, stage 2 they can request to leave base but must have a battle buddy and must return that day at a specific time. Stage 3 they get to stay out overnight with permission. Most stage 3 was revoked and they are all mainly on stage 1 at first. Are you going to the PIR if so take his laptop, cell phone and warm civilian clothing it is cold right now in TX. Hope that helps.

      i'll be curious to know the answer to this too. My sailor is heading to Ft. S.H. next week, and I'm curious when the next 14 week session of this A school will actually begin, if anyone knows.

        My recollection. is it just depends on getting the numbers to fill up classes. My son had three weeks down time before classes were filled. Does that help?
