When my son was in training at SC, when a hurricane approached, they moved everyone out of the way.  If I'm remembering correctly, they were moved to a horrible non-maintained facility with some broken windows but they were safe.  I hope they do the same to everyone based in Florida and Georgia. Well, maybe a nicer place.  :)

AmeliaJW3665 - Thank you for keeping us posted. I am sure that they have taken the necessary precautions to evacuate the sailors as needed, at least those in training still. My son went through two hurricanes and evacuations when he was at Goose Creek. 

Prayers for the families especially who may never have experienced anything like this.
