**BEGINNING OCTOBER 5, 2023, RECRUIT GRADUATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED EVERY THURSDAY (NO LONGER ON FRIDAY), EXCEPT FOR THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING, WHEN GRADUATION IS ON WEDNESDAY.
This is a place to talk, ask questions, and share stories. It is our desire that this Group will provide the information, encouragement, and support you need while your loved one is at RTC in Great Lakes. NavyStrong25 - I am so sorry that your son did not receive his care package. I don't think I ever mailed anything to my son while he was stationed on his ship in Norfolk, VA. We had friends who lived nearby and I mailed my pkgs to them, but I mostly did not mail him anything.

I don't know if your son had given you a specific mailing address or not. Is he in A school at Virginia Beach? To clarify, my son was not in Norfolk, VA until after he was assigned to his ship after completing his schooling.
