I got two calls today!
My daughter got to call from Bootcamp twice for info for her IS background check, I got to hear her voice and asked her how she was ( she said good she just got freaked out by shot) I was so happy and blessed and two calls so happy Man I miss her!

lol...yes the rate does have some advantages but don't believe it will happen often. When my son was at GL he also called home a couple of times for addresses of references, etc. Much of that is done either before they get to Dam Neck or soon after arriving there. Sometimes they get behind in the clearance checks and it is time for C school to begin before everything is wrapped up but yes, as long as the phone calls keep coming!! Glad you were able to hear from her. (The "peanut butter shot") hehe...

Looks like our girls are going to be together, mine reported for BC on June 26, and will be going to Dam Neck for IS. SHE CALLED ME 2X YESTERDAY :-). Once for background info, the other to tell me that when she received all of her shots, they may have hit a nerve, as she could not move her arm first day and second day not above her chest. so now she is on LLD for 2 days and will miss her swim test. :-(
