Need ideas for Christmas

Help. Need some Christmas ideas. Our son is an officer on a mcm. He does have housing. We send him magazines and such regularity, but we are stumped about Christmas. In my mind whatever we send needs to be small. Help. We haven't sent food items because of the heat have any of you had luck with that?

    We send iTunes gift cards, Starbucks packets, foods he associates with the season.

      We have sent homemade jerky, dried fruits, drink packets, , and those scarves/bandannas that have gel crystals (designed to keep the wearer cool) sewn in them. Also, LOTS of gum. I also am looking for Christmas/seasonal ideas. A group in my hometown wants to send something's and want to know what. (IE : supporting a soldier a few years ago in Afghanistan they had a request for cotton sheets - the fine sand got in their bedding and they had troubles with sand mites.)
      Do any of you with sailors in Bahrain have ideas? Or have you had any communicated to you? What are the winter temps like there? My son is on MCM also.

        I sent my son a jar of chunky peanut butter, nuetella, pepperoni, sausage and cheese from hickory farms, nuts, hot sauce, beef jerky and all got there just fine.
