This group is for those who have loved ones that graduated from boot camp on June 6, 2014. A place to keep in touch with each other as the sailors continue their Navy journey.
Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 930
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I posted this on my facebook page and think you moms will want to hear it if you haven't already..
"This is what my son wrote from boot camp: "I never would have expected that the hardest part of boot camp would be living with 84 other guys. Every one wants to tell each other what to do, be in charge, and be the alpha male, and I'm no different, so I'm really having to work on my temper. So far all we do is yell at each other and t here's even been fights at night. But.. last night changed everything. One of the guys stood up after we were all in our bunks and explained that he thought of us all as brothers and just really wanted to see us all come together as a family. He then went on to say that he's going home tomorrow because his 8 mo. old baby boy is in the hospital with a 50/50 chance of surviving. He asked us to just keep him in our prayers, but, instead we all got out of bed and held arms in the middle of the room and almost all 85 of us took turns praying for him. It was amazing..."
God answered their prayers.. the baby improved and the SR didn't have to go home.
