Personal items at A school

I was wondering if any one knew it the sailors are allowed to have personal bedding items at A school. The reason I ask is I am wanting to make my sailor a blanket as a Congratulations on finishing RTC kind of thing but don't know if he will be able to use it at A school?

Also he is wanting me to ship his ps4 to him when he gets there are they allowed to have them?

Marcy, not sure when you sailor was there, but mine graduated in August.  He had to buy his own bed sheets, they were not supplied.  We took him his blanket from home.  When he headed to next duty station, he folded his blanket longways and it fit inside the suit bag with his dress uniforms.

The big thing to remember becathena73 is that they do have to pack and move everything with them when the leave.  A lot of the guys buy stuff and then sell it dirt cheap as they leave there for either leave at home of their next duty station.  My sailor had 1 advantage, as we live about 4 hours away and we were able to get his car to him to drive home when he got leave, so he just loaded everything in it.  The hard part was loading his bags for duty station, as he was sent to Spain.

Yes they can they even have a Gamestop on base. I would have shipped my son his system but he just bought a second one...kids lol. They cannot have any hotplates but room has mini fridge and microwave. "ARMYfood" isn't like food at basic. So he rarely eats the meals they"provide"

Are they restricted to certain colors of bedding?
