-5 here too scared to look at wind chill... Snow has stopped, next round Thur. 4am- Fir.7pm Doesn't scare me!  LOL  Neighbors are helping neighbors, Township, county and state crews doing a GREAT job. For a few days our world is back to normal, People Caring about People.

Massage is scheduled for this afternoon as long as my relief for work can get to work and Massage therapist can make it in to work. I offered it to my Husband, he's been snow blowing and shoveling for weeks. But he said No, I think you need it more.  Who am I to argue, I offered!

Been drinking Moonshine and the next night Tequila. I schedule my meals to correspond so it doesn't look so bad. LOL  I only have 1 bottle of wine left and saving it and the salted dark chocolate caramels  for dessert Saturday night with my sister. No idea last time I actually saw her just phone calls, so gonna Live it up Sat. afternoon/evening.

What a loving and well trained hubby (kidding) Blondie!

He was right though - YOU really did need it more. And Happy Dance for you and your sister this Saturday !!  Have fun.

Agree - this weather is something. But I was surprised, we hit a high of 18 !!!! OH wow a heat wave, might be getting out the shorts and sandals soon.

Plus, of late I have been visited by Murphy. You know - Murphy;s Law.  I am believe  Murphy's twin is Mercury.  Mercury has been in retorgrade motion and messing up communications. Well, I have had so many minor things go wrong - I am near to total frustration and eating an entire box of Fannie Mae chocolates. I will be so happy when mercury goes straight again - February 20th.  Hope he takes his twin with him!  To top it off - the laundry Fairy showed up too.

    I need more moonshine.

Hey all - stay safe and warm. And check in so we know all are ok.  Hugs

did anyone else get a email like this? I have NO intention of leaving!!

Please, if you no longer want to be a part of N4M's consider NOT deleting your profile as everything you have ever posted will disappear when you delete it . You can leave an individual group but don't permanently delete your profile! Thank you!

  • Kim

I got it.  I felt like telling them that 'Pan moms are not allowed to leave.

  • B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet)

Hi ladies - I'm the admin that sent out that email.  About 4 or 5 years ago we had a problem with the site reaching capacity of too many members and the marketing company that handles N4M went in and randomly started deleting what they thought were "inactive" members.  We were able to get them to stop deleting but not before we lost alot of active members. Blondie - I believe you were one that got deleted.  And the problem is when a member is deleted or leaves on their own, anything and everything they have ever posted will be deleted too.  I just recently had a long time (10+ year) member leave (her son's duty was fulfilled) and sadly we lost all her input - which was valuable info.

Soooooo I'm just trying to let people know not to delete their profile if they've been active in groups.  You can leave a group and your info won't disappear but if you leave N4M completely everything will be gone!

  • T-Lynn

    HI

Thank you for the explaining about that email.

I was wondering what was happening.

Thank you for stepping to protect us.

And as one Pam Mom stated -  Pam Moms don't leave.

    Wish everyone a good weekend.

    Hugs

  • Kim

Hi B'sNukeMom. Thank you for dropping in and giving us the explanation.  Thank you for looking after us!

Now.....Will you stay and chat?  Join in our crazy group.

New topic.  Blondie flagged as inactive??????  Ha.  That girl runs this.

    Please stay safe everyone.

  • DramaSoul

Please don’t delete me! I don’t post very often but I do read posts.
Love this group. Love to all!

  • Blondie

Yes, I was deleted I believe twice through the years. Not fun!

Maybe they didn't like my posts? LOL

Thanks for explaining, glad no one is giving me the Axe!

Kim you are correct Once a 'Pan ALWAYS a 'Pan!

    Have a great weekend yall.

SpenDing time with my Sister tonight SO Excited.  My Dad had his second shot yesterday is doing fine, says 1st one was worse.(WooHoo)!!

  • B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet)

I joined N4M back in early 2012 and I remember this was one of the groups that I would read all the time!  You all were so fun to read and see what was going on in the Navy.  I honestly remember thinking if my son got stationed in Japan that I knew he would be ok based on everything I read on here.  But he didn't, he ended up in Norfolk (which wasn't even on his list lol!) but it all worked out.

My son's PIR was in 2012 and he's actually out of the Navy now.  Both he and his wife were nukes - they live in MI and we are in SoCal.  We miss them dearly but they are enjoying life there - both just graduated from MSU (thanks to the Navy) and they just bought a brand new home (again, thanks to the Navy!).  And they just got married in July - which thankfully we were able to be there for the very small ceremony (thanks COVID).

I'm just doing what I can to help keep N4M going.  We've had a few hiccups over the years but we seem to somehow manage to get through them and keep things going.  The site isn't nearly as active as it was when I first joined (we have FB to thank for that) but it's still plugging along....

If you all have any questions, feel free to reach out to me!

  • T-Lynn

    Wishing all a great morning

Yes, I remember Blondie got kicked off and then got back on - what fun talk there was.

Hey B, you never stop being a navy Mom and you are so welcomed here.   Just check in and share some gossip.

Right now we all need these fun gossips.

Kim - take care - and pack warm clothing!!!!

Have to share: Today it is 30 degrees and only feels like 19 degrees. BOTH temps above 0. Heat wave !!!

going to break out my sandals

     hugs all

  • Mississippi Mom

Hello all!   Hope you all are well!   We survived the snow & sleet storm.  It did get down to 9 degrees here and for us that is cold.  We had several really cold days, but we are so very thankful that we never lost power or had any bad mishaps.    Yesterday it warmed up to a toasty 56 degrees and we got to have a window visit with our sweet Momma!!!! I was so happy to get to see her, and she was really happy to see us.   There were 4 of us who made it.  There is always a couple who are just too busy to make it (and yes I am rolling my eyes out loud).   We had a ball, and it felt so good standing there in that sunshine.  She kept asking us if we were warm enough, and I told her I need my shorts and flip flops on.

I really hate share this, cause all of y'all will think we Southerners are a bunch of weenies!  Today is our first day back to work in over a week!!!!  I did not stick my head out of the door until Saturday.   My kids were telling me not to.  I told them I have been on crutches 3 times in my lifetime and I was not going to chance the 4th!  It was really slick here.  We also have no equipment and no stockpiles of salt, so there is nothing but grading the roads, which doesn't help a lot.   Our road was not graded until this past Saturday, and we live less than a half of mile from one of the main State Highways in our area.    We definitely are not equipped for what we received.  Our last big snow like this one was 33 years ago, so I guess the State feels like snowplows and salt would be a waste of money.

My Mom has received her 2nd Covid shot!!!! I got an email a few days from the facility she is stating that when our County's numbers get below 10% of our population we will get to go inside and visit.   Right now we are not there, and our visits will not be like they were.  Very strict, only 2 at a time and only for 30 minutes, but at lease there is hope that we will get back inside.   I can't hardly wait.   March 9 will be a year since I have been inside.

  • T-Lynn

    HI

Miss - when you get to see her and hug her - share the moment so we all can Happy Dance with you.  It will give us all hope.

And you are not being a weenie!  Up here - we know when NOT to go out too and we have all those pieces of equipment. that doesn't mean it all goes well. So being safe and not sorry - best news I heard!!!

My hope that is that those in need in Texas and other southern states get the help they need to rebuild.  they went through a lot.

My dad - being a an Earth Science teacher - always told me to be aware of the weather - listen to Mother Nature. And be ready - a small Ice Age is coming.   He is gone now - but his words still ring in my ears and heart. this was a warning sign.

We are now preparing an area for severe straight winds and tornadoes. There will be candles - matches - flashlights - batteries - radio- blankets - etc.  You get he picture. I even have all our medications in a storage box as well a box for important papers. Just grab and run!

wish all a good weekend and Miss - keep sharing - makes my heart feel good.   hugs

  • Cali's mama

My daughter is in A school at the moment having just grad bootcamp 2/25/2021 but will be headed this way after I'm told..looking for any information and support..this will b a 2 year journey I believe ..co fused tears

  • Mississippi Mom

    Hello and welcome Cali's mama!

I am not much help with this but there are some Mom's on here that can really help.  I can say that my son did come home after A school for I think either 10 days or 2 weeks before leaving for Japan.  That was several years ago, so my memory is fuzzy.   Also while my son was in A School we got to talk to him so much more.  For me personally boot camp was the hardest time, and I found that staying as busy as I could helped me.  Hang in there and come here and vent to us at any time.   Saying a prayer for you.

  • T-Lynn

    Hi Cali's mama,

    Welcome Aboard !!!!

Like Miss stated, our sailor came home after A School for two weeks. It was great to collect hugs and just be together.

Your daughter should get a name and contact number of her sponsor in Japan soon. And I would suggest - do a bit a research of her base and what weather is like so she can pack the clothing she needs.  Other items - like long johns for the winter - YOU Navy Pan Mom can send later. My sailor did  go to the bank and get some Japanese money - but not sure if that is needed now. And from what my sailor shared - the Japanese people are very helpful in showing someone where to go to catch a ride.  I believe she will need to check in with the D.O.D. and there are many signs in English.

One thing - DON"T fly in uniform!  My sailor did because A Schools said so - but when he arrived his 2 sponsors meeting him stated: "Why are you wearing your uniform? You want a target on your back!"  Plus, wear comfortable clothing - long flight.  Also, call her cell phone carrier. And tell them she is going to Japan - her tour of duty!  They can just put her phone on hold - NO charge, and start back up when she gets back to the states.  She will have to purchase a new cell phone in Japan and one of their plans - But the Japanese phones are good and good deals.  Her sponsor should be be able to help her.

That's the most of I can remember. Hope it help and was not overwhelming.

Like Miss stated - come here chat - and vent. Promise we will listen  hugs

Hey- other Pan Moms  ROLL CALL !!!

My gossip tank is low and I need to hear from you all

    hugs

  • T-Lynn

  • Mississippi Mom

Good morning, Blondie, praying for you, and that you get good results from Dr. visit this afternoon.

Happy you are getting all of those hugs!

I have very good news!!!! My oldest sister and I got to visit my Momma Tuesday afternoon inside her room!!!!!  We are allowed one 1 hour visit per week with her.  We have to be tested before we can enter the facility.   Oh and we got to hug her!!!  I didn't want to let go! My sister almost had to pull me away.   We had a really good visit and it did us all so much good.  I have been dancing around all week, ever since I got the call that we could go.   My other 4 siblings will get the next 2 weeks, but I have already got my next one scheduled.   My oldest brother asked me this morning to get a window visit scheduled for Sunday afternoon.  I told him I would be happy to.

Going this afternoon to get hubby fitted for his tux.  Wedding is on April 9.  It will be here before I know it.  Finally asked boss if I can have 2 weeks off.  He said yes!   That took a load off of me.

It is a beautiful day in the South.  We needed this sunshine after all the rain we have had in the last several days.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

  • T-Lynn

  • T-Lynn

    HI Cali'smama

Yippe that is were my sailor was stationed twice!

Yes, very pretty place and weather at times similar to Northern Illinois. That is why I suggested to check out where she would be stationed. So she could pack the right clothing for the season of Spring.  In September I suggest you mail her some long johns - at lease 3 pairs and warm socks. Why? i it gets cold. both on land and in the ships.  Plus, Japanese sizes are totally different from our sizes of clothing. My sailor was trying to get some long johns and the Nex on base was out. So he tried in town - no way was a large size in Japanese would fit him. He called saying he was freezing. Luckily for the first time the packages with warm long johns and socks arrived in a week! Usually it takes up to 3 weeks.

Have fun with her home for a month. So happy to hear she has contacted her sponsor too.

take care - keep us updated.

Unlike some Pam Moms who have not checked in!  Yes, I am nagging - miss the chatter.

    Have a good weekend  hugs

  • Blondie

    Miss! SO HAPPY for you!!!!!

Cali'sMom, Happy tears and also sad tears. We UNDERSTAND.  Enjoy your time with her, get plenty of Hugs. They always seem older, stand taller and have lots of confidence. I know you're so PROUD too.  remember to come here and complain, rant, cry, laugh and we will join you!

Everything still up in the air here. Sadly. Blondie Jr. and Storm will be moving again (this month)  That makes 7 places she's laid her head in 6 moths!  No wonder she's out of sorts, Poor thing was fine with us and slept soundly, no problems. Suppose to stay 3 days, Storm said 4 then 6!  They agreed on 5. Storm was not ready to go home. :(

Planning on heading down there and seeing Pregnant daughter and Joseph, Thank goodness David doesn't mind me trespassing. LOL He says that's why we got the mother in law suite, who else would use it?  His mom lives 20 mins. away.  So as long as my back, BP and heart behaves this week, Friday I'm heading down. Maybe moving them who knows!? Uggg

I'm feeling much better, still tired even tho I did nothing yesterday.  But last week was a long, hard, stressful week with work and my health. This is a New Week and I'm moving forward. Probably too busy of a week but somethings I can't control.  We did get our taxes done and we only have to pay in Half of what I thought because we filed married but seperatly. He pays in I get back. Even the Accountant said Tell your Boss she doesn't pay your enuff!  and his Brother in law is a Chiropractor!

    Well gotta go.

    Navy Strong. Navy Mom HUGS

  • T-Lynn

    HI All

Finally good weather up her in Northern Illinois.

Song birds flying in and Red Wing blackbirds appear to have scared off those Starlings !!!! I better knock on wood.

Blondie - as usually out doing the Energizer Bunny.

Sorry to hear that Blondie Jr is moving again but lets hope this is a good one.  Hope you had a good trip to see your other daughter. fingers crossed for a good report with taxes. We are waiting to hear about ours.

But remember to take of yourself.  Hugs.

Hi to ALL the other Pam Moms. Take care and check in when you can.

    Hugs

  • Blondie

T-Lynn hope your taxes are Better then you expect.

Yes we have had some great sunny days, flowers blooming here, birds singing. We worked in yard and flower beds yesterday,(1/2 hour then rest, 1/2 hour then rest. see why below) then set in back yard and enjoyed!  Ate supper on front porch. Sadly temps. dropped last night and dense fog until 11:00 today another cold front coming through. But it's still winter so counting our Blessings.

Got them moved! Very nice place just hope she can afford it. They need to get a child support agreement written up, she needs to find day care and a job! She's 5 mins. from other daughter!!!  Joseph got his Nugget (Christmas present ) Finally. He loves it. I tried to show them a somersault, not good. Hubby said you should have done a flip at least you would have landed on your feet.  I just stuck my t.e.n.s. unit on and used my pain killers, seen doctor mon. At least it was Sunday after lunch so all moving done only thing I missed out on was Painting Joseph's new room. But I got to watch the kids and read to them, so I was okay with that. Hoping to go back in 2 weeks (take Connor with us) and finish carpet, trim, shelves.....) Maybe a trip to the Zoo or Aquarium with all 3 of them!!!!

Work is getting busy gotta go.

Hope every one has a GREEN day.

  • T-Lynn

    Hi

Yes Blondie and Thank you - had a very Nice Green Day.

good to hear they are moved and sending positive thoughts for all things to fall into place.  You mentioned Connor. OH I bet he is tall now.  I can remember him being a baby.  Fingers crossed you get that fun day with them and I vote for the Zoo.

Let us know how you are doing though. Got to know you are doing ok.

Blessing of Spring to ALL !!!!

Finally Spring weather - ok- only a couple of days of Srping Weather . But I'll take it !

Right now waiting for more rain - even thunder and lightning. Rain for the next 5 days.  Guess April is wanting a reserve of water for those may flowers.

Wish I had some gossip  - honest me nothing.

Hey - Ladies !!! Still waiting here for for some checking and in and gossip .

    Hugs to all

  • Blondie

Will try and post pictures from my phone tonight.

No Connor this weekend, How disappointing!  He has ring worm and many bug bites, he's seeing a doctor for both, out of school until Friday. So they thought us picking him up Friday would not be a good ides. still contagious. Not wanting to spread it.  :(

We have a busy few weeks coming up. Easter then heading back to Virginia the next weekend, get rest of their stuff.  Joe, got early out so Sept. of this year (instead of Aug. 2022) But just found out he's entering an internship through the Military, he leaves April 2nd!  Well NO way I'm missing Easter with our families and Church family! Storm's birthday!! So it's the 9-11th. When we get back Kim (my part-time help) is taking vacation so NO rest for me!  Then my husband is ripping out his sister's bathroom (a gut job) and re-plumbing and putting in all new walk in shower, vanity and stool. He only has 2 weeks while they're gone on vacation. And to stub in washer and dryer on other side of bathroom wall. Then New baby is due!  Throw in Yard and garden and Grandkid visits, I'm Full.

Stormy here now too, high wind and tornado advisories again. Spring has Sprung.

I go back to the Doctor Friday for more x-rays and possible MRI. They are bringing in a new guy to see what his take is on it., new ideas, therapies.... Who has time for this?! Might have to have that surgery before I planned. I sleep about 3 hours per day, in bed for maybe an hour then out to pace the floor, ice, heat, ice, nap in chair, back to bed if I'm lucky. At work I have my T.E.N.S. unit on, try to only take pain meds. at night.  ALL because I wanted to show the Grandkids how to do a somersault! Gezz I must be OLD.

Hope everyone is well. Navy Mom HUGS

  • Chris, Forever Ray's Proud Mom

    Hi All,

I'm (almost) embarrassed to add my good fortunes after reading everyone's posts....but here goes.

Being a good Mom (like all of us here) I wanted to send my son, now stationed in Hawaii, a patio chair for his lanai. He sees the ocean, sunsets and Diamond Head. So I ordered the "Best Adirondack chair" (co.'s name) and the sales rep told me it would be less expensive for them to send it to me and me forward it, than for them to ship directly from Canada to HI. OMG! it cost me over $400. The boxes were huge, 2 huge and 2 medium. It was a huge chair, but still!! But he loves it, and doesn't ask for anything. (pic shows 2, I sent 1 set)

My daughter just updated her kitchen with IKEA cabinets and granite counters, so we helped what with the tile backsplash. Turned out gorgeous. She just divorced an abusive/narcissist, so this was also therapeutic work. her counsellor is helping a lot. and she thought this was the perfect guy...grrr. he fooled everyone, for a time. He found out he messed with the wrong girl tho!! He's paying for ½ of the bills (new kit included). She is taking care of herself.

My husband and I have been tearing a hole in the wall to connect our 2nd and 3rd bedrooms for my Mom to move in from OH. And we are becoming minimalists! I've been decluttering for a bit, but now have to be serious. I was flying up tomorrow to drive back with her, but she needed a cardiac Cath, so I'll be driving back and she'll fly later. At least she'll be ok. We're all excited, so I'm expecting it to be a good move.

Hubby turns 65 this weekend, so I'll be gone, but were able to celebrate his birthday and Christmas with (2 of 3) kids and grandsons 2 weekends ago. This was the firs time the longest actually let us interact with him! Made our visit great. My DIL is making soaps now, CabinFeverSoapCo. Let me know if anyone is interested, and I will send you some pics or a link. They look gorgeous!

Beyond that, just working 3 12's a week (in operating room).

Sad news: Our 5-6 yo rescued Rotterman (Rot Dobie mix) was diagnosed with lymphoma. The vet says 3-4 months, but he's being treated like a king until then, and he's getting used to it quickly! Don't realize how attached you get....

Hugs to all, and prayers where needed. Attached are some phots (know how everyone loves pics!)

  • B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet)

Chris - my husband bought our son an awesome Dodgers Baseball collage frame at an auction (it's 2'x3').  He was so excited because he kept bidding on it and got it for $100.  I'll admit it's pretty nice and beautifully framed.  So we need to send it to him in Michigan - we went to the UPS store the other day and it's going to cost almost $200 to ship!  Hubby about had a stroke - I just laughed.  I asked him when he was bidding on it how he was going to get it to MI and he just said "oh it won't be a big deal!".   We're actually visiting MI in June but there's no way we can take the frame on the plane with us...The things we do for our kids!

I love your pictures - and those chairs are beautiful!

Sorry about your pup :(  Enjoy your time with him, and yes, treat him like a king!

    Happy birthday to your hubby!

  • T-Lynn

    HI

First - thank you for some of you for checking and sharing fun gossip. Helps make a fellow Pan Mom's day. and yes, blondie all that is happening and I know some sad and scary - its still so good to see your strength.

     hugs to all.

What a beautiful Kitchen and yes please send a link!  Hugs about your puppy and so happy that you celebrated birthday together. Nothing like seeing a Grandpa reading a story.

Yes ! isn't it something what we will send to our sailors! Us too - sending the packages was more than the items. But when you get that call back and see pictures on fb - all the joy it gives . Its worth every penny. I have to share pictures.  but I forget to ask how . I so need to write the "How Too ..." and glue it to the computer!  I will try soon.

Weather is that cold damp rain here. Sorry - Blondie - headed your way.  Trying to do some house cleaning and then back to my crafting.  I actually get a day to do it!!!!

So wish all a good weekend. Now I have to go - Laundry Fairy is visiting.  hugs all

  • Blondie

Oh Chris Love the pictures!  So Happy for all of you (except for the 400.00!)  What we do for our children and parents. Bless your heart. Hope everything goes well with your Mom.  Our Dogs become our children once our children leave. tears.

x-rays not as bad as we expected (thank you Lord) New guys says we're on the right track, choice is mine.  She him again in 2 weeks. Spent 3 hours at my Dad's after appointment waiting on a guy to give us an estimate for his new roof. Been leaking all winter no one knew, now mold in his closet and attic. Want to get roof fixed soon so hubby can rip out drywall and get started on making it a healthy environment for him!  Not sure how that fits into our schedule but MUST be done!

I felt better sat. and swept  all my floors, went shopping with hubby (he spent the morning at my dad's patching hoes as best he could) and while he grilled out I mopped all my floors! This is what happens, I start to feel better and then Overdue But spent the evening sipping wine over a bonfire eating. That's when the weather changed :(  Sunday was Church and icing, heating..... But I survived and am back to work this morning. Tomorrow I work, get my hair cut and see another doctor(taking my new x-rays) maybe eat out, I expect to be exhausted.

Things are getting busy here, Hope everyone has a Great week!

Gets up a couple times a night but just wants to know Mom is there!  She's been thru a lot. She started daycare....Blondie Jr. had 2 call back interviews waiting on a decission from on and 3rd interview with other.  Life is moving forward.

Not sure if I told you we each had a cuz. pass away, funerals same day and also a close friend calling hours that night.  $ more funerals 1 including our neighbor for over 40 years, they buried him on the farm.  Boss's Dad, my original Doctor is fading fast, prostrate cancer went to bones....Was in Va hospital until this past monday now in nursing home . His wife can't bring him home because her breast cancer is back and she tested positive to Covid. has been in and out of hospitals. Not unusual for my phone to go off all hours of the day/night.. They were my 2nd parents for years and Dr. Thresa is only one of their children whole lives here. She's to her breaking point I fear.  Plus her nephew (their grandson) is getting married this weekend in Texas!  So no relief in the near future. We keep moving forward, Loving and Caring for those who need us.

Hubby and I did schedule and book a 40th wedding ann. trip for this Oct. NO MATTER WHAT!

Well phone ringing, people arriving the work day has started!

Stay safe, warm and be Happy

T-Lynn, I am here and I have tried to give an update several times, but work would interfere.  Imagine that! LOL!   We left Mississippi on April 2 heading to Phoenix for the wedding.  We arrived on April 4 at our daughter's to start preparing for the wedding.  It was a busy week, but we got it all done, and she got married on Friday, April 9. It was a beautiful ceremony and I really think they were both happier with the smaller crowd.    They did not leave for the honeymoon, but hung around with all the family that were there for the wedding.  We all played TopGolf on Saturday which was a lot of fun.  She came and "hung out" with us that afternoon, and we all had a lot of fun.  Sunday we carried our son and daughter-in-law to get  rental car, they decided to drive home rather than fly, so we got them situated and we got packed up, said our goodbyes the newlyweds and we headed to California!  We visited the Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park, Monterey, Death Valley and then Hoover Dam, and the West Rim of the Grand Canyon before heading home.  We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of our trip.   While we were gone, my BIL was airlifted to a hospital with a possible stroke, but ended up being medicine.  He has Parkinson and his Dr. had changed his meds and he could tolerate them.  That was tough being so far away, but I could not have done a thing if I had been home. My sister had to wait in the parking lot until they got him in a room.  Then she did not leave the hospital until he was discharged due to the restrictions of Covid.   I was happy to get home and see my Mom, and she was happy to see me.   I came back to work on the 19th and have been trying to dig out from all of the stacks that were waiting on me.  Not to mention everything at home that needed attention.  I went yesterday and bought flowers & ferns, so I will be in my happy place this weekend.  Got a few set out when I got home, before it got too dark to see.

Blondie, you just never stop!  I am joining T-Lynn in a happy dance.   Excited for you booking that anniversary trip!!! We will celebrate our 40th this year as well, in November.  See we are kindred sisters!    Sending you hugs and prayers for your losses.

Take care everyone and have a great weekend!

    HI

Yippee Miss - you checked in with gossip to fill my tank !

    Thank you

OH, what a trip you had Miss!!!!! congratulations to the couple and so happy to hear your BIL is doing ok. What a scare though.

Now I have to mark the calendar again - your 40th Miss in November and Blondie's in October. Gee - we will have two months of toasting here.

My 44th will be in July. If I add the years we met ( high school sweethearts ) it would 49!  Hey, I think I will count it - then I can  have two 50th celebrations.  Yup - I'm greedy.

Here has been something. My poor daughter n law had kidney stones so bad that she had to go to a specialist.  Luckily - they were able to go in and get the bad one out.   She has 8 more small ones, but they will pass with ease. Right now she is resting and hoping to go back to work Monday.  She missed the entire last week, and honest - they way she looks - she should take another week off. She being a nurse - she can't lift her patient right now.

To top it off - granddaughter got her first ear infection and sinus infection too. I was so hoping that allergies would pass one of the grandkids.  But no, she has joined the rest of us with allergies. It is now a family events of allergy season.

Otherwise - we are all fine.  Grandson starts T-Ball next Monday too and Emma will start Day Care Monday too.

SO I am busy making my to do list. And I have to put " Me Time" in there!. Otherwise I know me - I will try to attempt to compete with Blondie. But we all know who will win - Blondie.

Need to get - the Laundry Fairy has moved in!

And I need to check on my daughter n law.

    Hugs to all

Thanks for checking in Miss !!!

Ok the rest of you - check in!  Don't make me do the Roll Call.

Miss, What FUN!  I'm Glad BIL's was the meds and fixable. he has a hard enuff time.  I also Understand the coming back to Stacks of work!  We must be Sisters  :)

T-Lynn, Sorry to hear about your DIL's stones, Not pleasant. And Granddaughter joining the allergies. UGG  Busy times ahead for you, those grandkids are growing up!

Dr. Bob did pass away, his wife, Chris was in hospital getting a infusion for her cancer on Mon. Bob passed Thur night. Chris went back in the hospital Sat. for more infusions and pneumonia. Then Dr. Thresa got sick, just run down I think. Dr. Bob died 2 days before grandson's wedding in TX  None of us went obviously couldn't leave!  We waited to bury him till this past Fri. in hopes Chris would get out of hospital. didn't happen :(  Dr. Thresa didn't make the funeral either, sister in Alaska didn't come home, waiting on Memorial Service. Son didn't come, family issues, So just me and 1 of his daughter's were there to great people, had full military funeral..... Chris is home now, just sits and stares, doesn't talk, watch TV nothing!  Dr. T is still sick, we're thinking Covid from hospital. So she hasn't been  to work since April 21st. So lots of phone calls, rescheduling....

I did get to watch Connor play soccer in there and brought him home, then surprised him with his Dad coming to get him from my house. He hadn't seen him for 18 months! Got it on Video! Oh yeah, Day of Dr. Bob's funeral said son was suppose to have surgery (stomache -3rd surgery)  it got canceled when he hit a deer at 4:15 am.  So reschedule for Sat. but I had another Funeral that morning a close friend of 29 years. We seen each other at least twice a week, every week for 29 years, I had to be at that funeral! Emma was a clown and worked on the Fire Dept. So she got her last ride on the Fire Truck and escorted by EMS Truck. After we left the Church we all put on Red Noses because Emma's last wish was that we leave Happy. She was 92 years young and we shared our Birthdays! So won't ever celebrate without thinking of her.  But it all worked out because son doesn't come out of anesthesia well so by the time he woke up and could leave hospital we were available to pick him up.  how did bold get locked??? Anywho, I'm taking tomorrow off and getting my hair done, maybe my nails too. My daughter's are giving me a session of floatation this weekend. So just have to make it through this week.

Big Navy Mom HUGS to all.

T-Lynn, thank you and lots of prayers for your daughter-in-law and granddaughter.  Bless both of them.  Kidney stones are definitely no joke!

Blondie, sending you hugs and prayers. So very sorry for your losses.   You had another busy, busy weekend.  I do however love the picture of you and hubs with the red noses!  Your friend inspired many, I am sure.   What a sweet tribute to her.  I watched the video!  Made my heart smile big!!! You sure do have sweet grandbabies.  Love all of the pictures.

We are having crazy weather in the South.  The thunder is rolling right now.  So far we are just under a severe thunderstorm warning.  I hope it doesn't get any worse.  We had 4 tornadoes that touched down Sunday night in a large town just South of us.  There were no injuries or deaths reported, but lots of damage to property.   They are under the gun again today.  It is so heartbreaking to see the pictures and videos.

    HI

Any other mom here having trouble with the site?  I tried to go back - just one page. And I was sent back to the month of February 2021. Then when I tried to go forward or clicked the Next button - now way. I got sent back.   Finally I just clicked back to groups and clicked this site and all worked out.   Must be a Gremlin in my computer or 2020 is still trying to mess things up!

Blondie - Gentle hugs. What sweet pictures and LOVE how you all say good bye! Hubby and I just lost a friend this last Monday - She was always joking around. And she would tell jokes that would knock you off your chair laughing.  I think I might steal your idea of the red nose.

Miss !!!! 4 tornadoes!  And more storms coming your way. One - glad your town was safe. Two - I am sorry for the town that was hit. 3. - Send an update - you ok ?

Here: Emma is doing ok now. The medication has worked on that ear infection and Emma was able to start Day Care. I believe she is taking over the room. So she is ok.  Grandson Riker, I am SO Happy to share. His attitude is changing. He is happier - more willing to listen and helps out. And does his homework with NO complaints.   Plus, he likes his T-Ball team.

Daughter in Law - doing better after a better medication was sent. She is still sore - and tired. But she has been able to return to work and that stint will come out this coming Monday.  Honest - I believe once that thing is out - she will be ok.

Weather here - is beautiful outlooking. Sunny and bright - birds singing that they have a mate and now nesting. But with the wind - its darn right cold at times.  WE actually had a frost warning the other day.  So still at night we have had the heat on! now this is weird even for us here.   Maybe by Memorial Day it will be Spring. Or knowing here - it will just jump into Summer.

wish I had more to share. At least - No Laundry Fairy!!  Oh gee - I bet i just jinxed myself.  let you all know

Need to get - hugs all
