I bet so! My son's graduation date is June 11th. He's in a different ship and division but I would think they're so close they'll graduate together. Neat! Thanks for commenting! Nobody here in my circle of friends has had a child go through the military...yet! :)
Nice to meet you, Faith! I see you live in Mojave, CA. Is that in the desert of the same name? I live in the middle of the piney woods in NE Texas. This website has been a lifesaver for me. All the information and support from other moms going through the same separation has been very helpful. Are you planning on going to PIR?
Hi Faith! Have you received your form letter yet with Autumn's information? I hope ours arrives today. It seems like everyone knows their PIR date except me. I checked that website and the division her recruiter gave me is not listed. I hope he didn't give me the wrong infomation because I've been mailing stuff to her. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Faith, I DO know that the ships are their barracks. Other than that, I don't know much. LOL Elizabeth also had all her wisdom teeth but they weren't bothering her, I don't think. After reading the posts on this website about everyone's kid getting theirs removed, I'm wondering if they took hers out, too.
We'll hang in this together. At least we know our girls are in the same barracks, although it's probably a huge place. I'll keep you posted if I get anything today.
Nothing for me, either. Wouldn't that be cool if they could get in touch with each other, too. :-) I'm wondering if theyre even allowed to talk to each other yet. I've heard it can be pretty tough at first. I wasn't at Lizzie's swearing-in because she asked me not to go. She felt that she needed to start getting "mentally tough" before arriving at BC and would be all emotional if I was there. Whatever.....She did get someone to take her photo though and that's my profile picture. Her camera came back in the box so I uploaded her photos onto my computer. It was so cool to see all the pictures she took that day since I wasn't there. For sure, we'll look for each other at PIR. It seems like a long way off but it will be here before we know it. Where is Autumn's A school going to be and what is her training going to be in? Lizzie stays in Great Lakes and is in Advanced Electronics and Computer "something." I forget. She had to sign up for 6 years for that field.
Sounds like you have a lot of connections with the service. There's no one in my family who's ever enlisted. So it's all new to me. Anything you can find out would be great. Pass it on!

Hi Faith, Sorry I didn't get back right away, I work all the time!. Have you found anybody in that DIV yet? I would think as people get there ltrs. they will start looking too. Have you started a Ship 9 div 220 yet!
Hi Faith. I used to drive through Mojave every other week taking my kids to see their dad in Bear Valley. I live in Newbury Park so am just a couple of hours from you. I am 7 miles from Malibu. Do you ever come out this way? My son, Dan, is also on ship 9 but his div is 219. I don't really know what it all means but anyway that's what is it. Have you received a letter yet? Not the form letter but a real letter from you daughter? Do you live on Edwards AFB? I just read your profile info. When I moved to BVS for a very short time, I tried to get a postal route on base but then I decided to quit my job instead and left the postal service that year.
