I am a proud mother of a Navy Sailor Daughter. She is now serving on the USS LINCOLN !
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
That they break down the child you surrendered to them and deliver a Strong, Confident and Mannerly, Regimented Young Adult who is just AMAZING to look/watch and an individual that is so awe inspiring. I am so very proud to be her mother and I wish I could be half this person she has now become.

Hi Janie. Did you get the color for our division? It's navy and gold rugby striped. I found some great scarves on Amazon.com at a reasonable price. Can't wait til 2/4!!!!
I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!! We are a friendly, caring group of moms always willing to listen and support. Please feel free to jump in and join our chats!! We like to discuss everything from our sailors to our jobs, weather, whatever. It's also a great place if you want to yell, scream, vent, cry - - there is no judgment involved!!! Brag about your sailor but also tell us when you are hurting because you miss her so!!! Looking forward to getting to know you and your sailor!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!
Just read your Blog so glad to see someone else from NJ. Our daughter is now in GL in A school she will graduate in two week and hopefully get her orders. Please keep in touch.
You're so welcome! I haven't found many moms on here either with the same ship and division. I'm so ready for PIR.....I miss my son like crazy!! My son was moved up to an E2 as well and he is the RPCO ( SO PROUD ) He's always been a great kid and whatever he's always had so much HEART for whatever he is doing. We're staying in Waukegan. Where are you staying?
Since you have poste on the PIR board about feeling lonely in your division..thare have been two people contacting me saying they are in that one also..and dont want you to feel alone.
The funny thing is...they are both men. haha
Screenames 'DavidB" and LauraJay88" (R Jay) haha they just wanted me to let you know..
Janie Hi RJAY here as you may know I am a dad using my daughters login that she left on the computer. Yes in her letter she said they got the flags! My wife and I (maybe my son and his lady) will be at the M&G can't wait to meet everyone!
Thank you for your comment on everyone passing at this stage of the game.. it really helps calm my nerves!
I hope our daughters know each other and get along good!
For your info,we are from Kentucky so we will be easy to recognize at the m&g. I will be the old man in the bib overalls and my wife will be bare foot and pregnant!!!
Glad to hear from you.Emily should be graduated from A school within the next two weeks hoping to get her orders. Boredom is the worst. They have to keep busy. Most of all thrifty with there money.Emily and her fellow Sailors do go out next week they are going to a museumn in Chicago. We also send at least twice a month a gift box which includes her favorite snacks canned soup cereal ect...oh and of course laundry detergent yes they do their own washing. The best thing is now you will hear from your Sailor.Hope this helped.
