Welcome! Needed to learn more about the Navy is exactly how I felt. My son had been at college and decided he didn't want to stude what he went to school for any longer (after a semester) so he decided to take time off to think about what he did want to study then out of no where, he was in the Navy. I was so uninformed! So glad to have so many of my questions answered just from reading on here!

Wow! Small world! I decided to contact you based on when my son called while they were in their processing week. My son Joshua (Josh) was so excited that his rackmate was from Orlando, and we are from West Palm Beach. He also said that they both are CTR's? and going to Penscacola. I have had no social calls from him, the only calls were for information, last call was 4/3 when he needed phone #'s as he was going thru his interview for the top secret clearance. The only social call I know of was on 03/16/12 when he called his sister in VA Beach. Is your son in the Honor Guard Marching Division? My son is and he was in the middle row at the back beacause he is so tall! My letter dated 04/01/12 said that they had just finished "Hell Week" and his division "Flagged" everything which is good and they recv'd a flag and or pennant. Well at least we know we will get a phone call after battlestations!

Thanks for the reply. Glad we found each other too! I wrote to Josh today to let the boys know we found each other. I am staying at the Ramada so I will prob go to that meet & greet then possibly head over to Sarge's I have more family coming in late Thursday.
If I may be so bold in asking>>>how many family members do you have attending? I am short one person for my access list. I think we should be ok because it is a small graduation. I hope we are able to meet at Sarge's.
