I agree, I am missing my son so much it hurts! I did receive his box today, which broke my heart.. there were NO sneaky notes hidden away for me! Believe me, I checked EVERY NOOK & CRANY

I did however call his recruiter today and got his address and info, so now I can write him and I have his ship & Division #!!!

Hey Proudmama, Glad you finally got your daughters letter. I got Wade's a on Fri. No not, no smiley face, NOTHING!!! I am soooo very anxious to actually hear from Wade! I NEED to know he is ok!

I have made hotel reservations, with Navy Lodge. Ive heard great things about them and they are only 1.5 miles from training facility. They charged $65 per night no taxes!! Actually, there are a few mom's from the same ship & divisions that have already made there reservations for there!!! Join us!!! As for flights, No I havent. Im sooo nervous about making them. I looked at the flights that were transferable, and they more than double in price. I simply cant afford that. There are 4 of us flying up and it would be close to $3500 with those tix. So I figured wait til after the 3rd week, then make flight reservations, surely if he would be set back it wont be after that...

Also, I created us a facebook page if you are interested for our ship and divisions!! If your interested, go to group PIR 8/10 and look in discussions, you'll see FACEBOOK and our ship info.. simply click on the cute little facebook icon, and itll take you to the page. you'll have to click to join, and ill gladly accept you!!! Just tell me your name on there... So ill know its you!!
