A little about me:
I'm 22yrs old and married to my best friend. :) We've been together for 7yrs, married for 3yrs, and have a daughter who is 1yr. My husband has wanted to join the military for years and we were finally able to move forward with it. He graduated Jan 11th and is now in A-school in Great Lakes. 36 days PIR buddy. :)
I'm excited, and kind of sad.
    How're you feeling??
  • Sarah.JKO

I agree the days are moving by really quickly. I try not to think about the time apart so I can enjoy this time we have now.
And I am sorry to hear your hubby is upset. What is do you think is making him upset? As for my hubby, he is good. He said he is tired of waiting to leave. And that he tries not to think about it too much cause he doesn't like thinking about missing me.

I can't even imagine being away from your child for the long. He is a strong man. :)

I replied to your post, but realized I put it on my own wall and not yours! It was long so if you don't mind going to my page to read it. Lol

Yes! Im definitely in need of a friend! My Husband and I were married for two weeks before he left but we have been together for almost 4 years and have never been apart. We were high school sweethearts. SO this is such an adjustment! I cant even imagine having an 18 month old! YOU are brave! ha But yes I received my box and form letter. He graduates January 11 and is on Ship 11 Div 58. DId you get yours?

  • Jessica1028(Ship 11 DIV 58)

Sounds like we are in the same boat! The past two weeks felt like 2 years! I am so very proud of my husband though! After this he goes to San Antonio Texas for MA School. Where is your husband going? And I so hope we get a letter this week! And if not a letter then the information for the IDs and health stuff would be nice. I called DEERS today to see if I was registered yet and they said I wasn't? Which I was under the impression that my Husband registered me his first week at bootcamp. SO now I am really anxious for the paperwork to see whats going on ha
